One of the most beautiful places on the island. The views are breathtaking, the food is delicious and the staff are fantastic.

A pretty building in a perfect location, I love Guernsey. Elegant room with cute balcony and kettle and facilities cleverly enclosed in a big fitted cupboard. Love everything about it ( except maybe the TV eas a bit too large). The restaurant and the gardens are beautiful, helpful and friendly staff and lovely food.

Enjoyed a one night ‘staycation’, excellent experience throughout our short stay. Handpicked are doing a great job since acquiring it to upgrade it a notch, with delightful and efficient staff, lovely ambiance throughout and the decking and furniture enable you to make the most of the wonderful valley and sea views whilst on the generally sheltered eastern coast.

We eat in the Rock Garden which was good, if a little expensive for what it is. Breakfast on the outside deck was a delight (friendly service, a good buffet and cooked options).

We enjoyed a spacious platinum room, great view, but no balcony (14), would possible have been better in a gold room (smaller) but with balcony as we had much wasted space. Furnishings and equipment were to a very good standard throughout.

All staff were excellent. Hotel is spotless, complimentary shuttle bus is very good. Wish we had upgraded our room as it was a little hot with no views.

We chose this hotel as an option to staying in St Peter Port itself : it is located in a beautiful valley leading ( quite steeply ) down to Fermain beach and is about 10 minutes from the town. The platinum rooms are lovely, large and well furnished with views over the valley. The hotel is in very good condition and keep very clean and there are spacious outside seating and eating areas. The staff are quite delightful, helpful and clearly well-trained : there is also a shuttle that can take you on short journeys and the bus GBP 1.50 per trip ) stops at the top of the road. The food in the hotel's restaurants is good although we did not like the Mexican Buho which we found too cafeteria-like and quite noisy.

We stayed at the Fermain Valley hotel for 3 nights. Its position was stunning, overlooking Fermain Bay, with a short (but steep) walk through the hotel’s grounds to get to the lovely bay below. Room (#10, Silver option) was very spacious and well appointed with a nice sea view. Breakfast was cooked to order with a great variety of other items. It was lovely to sit on the terrace for breakfast. We ate in the steak restaurant and Mexican restaurant, both great. Throughout our stay, all staff we encountered were really helpful and attentive. Overall, hard to find a fault

Stopped in for breakfast as a walk in customer en route from town to physiotherapy!

What a welcome, fantastic service, lovely friendly staff and head waiter Boris.

Vast choice of continental and cooked choices and great value for money, I’ll be back, thank you Fermain Valley and Hand Picked.

Fantastic hotel in good location with welcoming friendly staff. Walk through beautiful gardens to the cafe and swim safe beach at the bottom of the hill. We all came back feeling refreshed and rested.

It was a lovely, clean, friendly hotel in a beautiful setting with a stunning view from our room. Food was fabulous, not too far from the airport or St Peter's port .

We really enjoyed our stay at Fermain Valley hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. We got a free upgrade from the Venue to the main hotel where our room had a balcony. The breakfast was really nice. We also got a free shuttle to and from the airport which was a nice touch.

Such a great stay. All of the staff were friendly and went above and beyond. Greeted with a warm welcome on reception and at breakfast. We used the pool and Sauna and had it all to ourselves.
We ate in the Mexican restaurant, Budo and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, attentive staff and great food.
Walked from the hotel along coast path to St Peter Port which was easy and convenient.
Will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the terrace.

Our first room wasn’t quite right but the staff changed us into another with no problems whatsoever. Apart from the quiet location and birdsong the best thing about this lovely place are the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast team were amazingly friendly and very efficient.

We will 100% be returning here.

Thank you to you all.

A very clean and well kept hotel in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Lovely restaurants with the breakfasts and afternoon tea being particularly good. Staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. We stayed for three nights and had a very relaxing time. If we were disappointed in anything it would be the room size. It was adequate but we expected something larger for the cost. Overall though, a lovely hotel which we would stay in again without hesitation

Shared an 1 night staycation with my daughter. Room was spotless and a bottle of bubbly was waiting for us. The food at Buho was spot on as always and all the staff were absolutely lovely, even the barman who made us cocktail late into the evening, even though he was super busy.

Lovely hotel in a lovely setting with fantastic service. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.
Rooms however are a bit dated and shower over bath wasn't great.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The room was lovely but it's the extra touches which made the stay special. For example on arrival there was a cuddly toy waiting for our 4 year old, complementary cookies and milk for bedtime and a pick and mix sweet cart in reception. The choice of restaurants are great and the quality of the food is exceptional.

We’ve stayed here a few times, but feels like they’ve really upped their game in recent months - beds are always comfy, staff always friendly, hotel always well presented - but the smaller perks they’ve introduced give it a lovely personal touch now. Our kids (we stayed in a family room) were given stuffed toys on arrival. My dad a bottle of wine in his room. The milk & cookies in the evening were a nice touch too.

Otherwise the pool is great - nice and warm; even on cold days. And the Fermaine Valley itself is always beautiful. Highly recommended.
