Phil Dollman and team mates launch their charity Cookie Club Recipe Book at the Great Exeter Bake Off event.
As part of a sequence of high-profile charity events celebrating his testimonial year, Exeter rugby stalwart, Phil Dollman, is welcoming supporters into the kitchen for the launch of the Cookie Club Recipe Book on Wednesday 28 November.
The recipe book features the Club’s members’ favourite cakes and bakes and will be at the top of the Christmas wish list for Chiefs fans and cookie lovers alike.
Cookie Club players will battle for the title of the City’s Best baker against Exeter City FC in a Bake Off style competition, with midfielder, Lee Holmes, among the team members.
Proceeds from the tickets and the sale of the Cookie Club cookbook go towards Phil’s chosen charities: Devon Air Ambulance and Exeter Foundation.
“The Cookie Club recipe book launch is sure to be a fantastic evening and we’re delighted that proceeds from the book will go towards helping our helicopters,” says Tracy Owen, Fundraising Manager at Devon Air Ambulance.
She added “Everyone can look forward to an evening of laughter and some tasty things to eat too.”
The event will be held at The Room Works in Marsh Barton and singles (£30) or couples tickets (£50) are on sale via http://www.dollysyear.co.uk/. The ticket price also includes a signed copy of the recipe book. You are encouraged to book soon to avoid disappointment.
