Dear to whom it may concern,

I am writing to you on behalf of an organisation called ‘Chloe’s Fight for Sight’.

“The aim of the organisation is to raise funds to improve the welfare of Chloe Laslett. At just 19 years old Chloe was diagnosed with Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy. This disease is an inherited eye condition which affects around one in 80,000 of the population and causes gradual loss of central vision.”

We will be holding a St George’s Day Coffee Morning on Saturday 23rd April at Trinity Church Hall, Coppice Avenue, Willingdon from 10:00 – 12:00. We intend to hold a raffle at this event along with other fundraising activities.

I am writing to you in the hope that your establishment would be willing to donate a prize for this raffle or make a contribution of another kind towards the event.

I would be willing to discuss this further if you feel it is necessary I can be contacted on 01323 503245 or 07783306167 before 13th April if possible.

Alternatively please could any contributions, be sent to the following address:

Chloe’s Fight for Sight, C/O Derrolyn Laslett, 22 Brampton Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN22 9BN.

Thank you for your support and taking the time to read and consider this letter. I hope you feel this is a cause you could support and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely,

Derrolyn Laslett,

Chloe’s Fight for Sight
