Supporting Local Charities Across East Sussex

At M S Steelwork, giving back to the community is an important part of who we are. Throughout the year, we proudly support a number of local charities and community organisations that provide vital services, support, and assistance to children, families, and individuals across East Sussex.

We understand that strong communities are built through people helping one another. Whether through fundraising, sponsorship, donations, or raising awareness, we are committed to supporting organisations that make a genuine difference to local lives.

Supporting Families and Children

One of the charities close to our hearts is the Children's Respite Trust. The charity provides care, support, and respite services for disabled children and their families across Sussex, Kent, and Surrey.

For our Director, Jasmin, this support has particular meaning. Having grown up with a sibling living with hydrocephalus, she understands first-hand the challenges, concerns, and pressures that can affect the whole family. The work carried out by the charity offers invaluable support to families facing similar circumstances.

We also proudly support the Children with Cancer Fund, which helps children up to the age of 18 and their families who are currently living with cancer or have previously experienced it.

Based in Polegate, the charity works tirelessly to create special experiences and support families throughout difficult times. One way local people can help is by becoming a monthly "Dream Maker" through a regular donation.

Supporting Families Through Difficult Times

The work carried out by St Wilfrid's Hospice is another cause we are proud to support.

The hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care while also offering emotional support and bereavement services to patients, families, and loved ones. Their work touches countless lives across Eastbourne and the surrounding area.

This year, the youngest member of the M S Steelwork family will be joining Jasmin in fundraising efforts by taking part in the Rainbow Run on 6 June 2026, helping to raise funds for this incredible local charity.

How We Get Involved

Our support takes many forms throughout the year, including:

  • Fundraising events and campaigns
  • Sponsorship of charity balls and community events
  • Donating used ink cartridges for recycling schemes that generate charitable funding
  • Direct charitable donations
  • Acting as charity ambassadors and helping raise awareness
  • Committing to regular monthly donations

We believe that even small actions can contribute to meaningful change when communities work together.

Thank You to Our Customers

None of this would be possible without the continued support of our customers.

Every project completed by M S Steelwork helps us continue supporting the charities and organisations that make such a positive impact across our local area.

From Mark and Jasmin, thank you for helping us give something back to the community.
