Eastbourne RFC U12s are looking for new players to join their squad, with youngsters of all abilities welcome whether they already play rugby or have never tried the sport before.

The emphasis is not simply on playing rugby. The club wants young players to make friends, build confidence, develop their skills and enjoy being part of a team.

New to rugby? You can still get involved

There is no need for previous playing experience to join Eastbourne RFC U12s.

Young players can come along, take part and see whether rugby is for them. Those who already play and are looking for a new team are equally welcome.

The team follows five values that sit at the heart of what they do:

  • Teamwork
  • Respect
  • Enjoyment
  • Discipline
  • Sportsmanship

Together, they help create an environment where players can learn both rugby skills and what it means to contribute to a team.

When do Eastbourne RFC U12s train?

Training takes place twice each week at Eastbourne Rugby Club, Park Avenue, Eastbourne, BN22 9QN.

Sundays: 10:00am to 12:00pm
Wednesdays: 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Families do not need to commit before finding out whether it is right for them. New players are welcome to come along and give rugby a try.

Play, learn and belong

Eastbourne RFC describes its approach simply as Play | Learn | Belong, giving young players the opportunity to develop their rugby while becoming part of a local team.

If you have an U12 who would like to try rugby, or who is already playing and looking for a new club, Eastbourne RFC would be pleased to hear from you.
