A number of our choir members attended a fantastic event last Saturday (3rd September) - the Treorchy Male Choir, singing at St Saviour's. This being one of our own performance venues it was great to see thngs from the audience's perspective. Many of their numbers were familiar to us, and it was difficult not to join in!!
It was a reminder to us all of the power and strength of music - be it shared, indiviually enjoyed, practised or experienced - and our own choir is excited to be returning to its own rehearsal schedule tonight. We practice every Monday at Willingdon School from 7:15pm.
I tried to recruit some of the basses and tenors from the Treorchy gang, but they gave some feeble excuse about it being somewhat far to travel.....
