A huge thank you and well done to Christel Zegers, from the Park Centre for Breast Care who transformed her hair from long and curly to short and sassy with the help of her colleagues, all while raising much-needed funds for the Sussex Cancer Fund. Last week Christel cut off her hair and also dyed it grey, which although she was very nervous, I think we all agree looks absolutely fantastic.
“So, I’m an HCA working at the Park Centre for Breast Care, here in Brighton. I was inspired by a patient who raised about £10000 by cutting off her hair. Only last week my mum got the diagnosis cancer so all of a sudden it has a special meaning to me… “ Thank you, Christel and thanks to all those who helped with the hairstyling and of course to all those that have donated.
