Presented by Plastic Free Eastbourne, the Eastbourne Spring Water Festival 2025 is now in its fifth year! This vibrant and widely recognised event brings together residents, visitors, and local businesses to celebrate Eastbourne’s natural water resources while promoting eco-conscious living.
Plastic Free Eastbourne’s mission is to eliminate single-use plastics from our town. The Festival raises awareness of this goal in an educational and supportive way—encouraging positive change through community participation.
Here are three of our major events during the festival:
Join us for the Eco Fair, where you’ll find over 30 stalls across themed villages: Campaigning, Community, Food, and Crafts.
Opening Ceremony with the Mayor
Live Puppet Show
Kidical Mass Family Bike Ride (starting and ending at the fair)
Food Stalls offering delicious, nourishing options
Grab your gloves and help clean our seafront starting at 2pm.
We’ll be creating Mandalas from the collected litter at these four locations:
Holywell
Wishtower
Beach Deck Café
Harbour Reach
This bold protest event, part of a national movement by Surfers Against Sewage, highlights the ongoing issues of water pollution across the UK.
Gather from 12 noon at Wishtower Beach
Paddle Out begins at 2pm
🟢 All events are FREE and open to the public.
