The walls of St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) are adorned with wonderful artwork as part of the charity's annual art fundraiser.

Art at the Hospice brings together an online auction, an art sale and a private view for supporters, visitors and art lovers to enjoy. The event runs until Wednesday 14th October.

The online auction focuses on postcard-sized art, complemented by a small number of larger works by popular and established artists. Artists who have donated postcards include Mervyn Long, Bobby Guy, Nigel Greaves, Catriona Millar and Haydn Cottam. There are also artworks from emerging talents such as Megan Cheshire and Val Davies-Gilbert.

All pieces are available to view at the hospice in Broadwater Way, Eastbourne, and through its online auction at stwhospice.org/art

Separate from the auction is an art sale containing original and limited edition artwork. This artwork is not listed online, and each piece has a set price and can be purchased at the hospice and taken home straight away.

Head of Community Fundraising, Sarah Marsh, said: “Come along to St Wilfrid's and step into a world of creativity where you'll discover beautiful pieces of art to view, bid for and treasure. With a captivating mix of subjects, styles and media, there is something to catch every eye and inspire every art lover.

“We’re excited to feature work by illustrious artists Sir Grayson Perry and Patrick Hughes, and would like to thank everyone who has generously shared their creativity to support St Wilfrid’s.”
