We are East Sussex MSK Community Partnership, your NHS provider for musculoskeletal (MSK) health in East Sussex.
We’re beginning several new pieces of work to improve MSK health in the workplace and to better support people who are out of work or at risk of leaving work because of MSK issues. To make sure what we develop genuinely meets the needs of local employers, we’re asking for insight directly from businesses across East Sussex.
About MSK health
Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions affect the muscles, joints and soft tissues of the body - for example back pain, sciatica, knee pain, repetitive strain injuries and cartilage problems.

MSK conditions are the second biggest cause of sickness absence in the UK, costing the economy around £5 billion and more than 20 million lost workdays each year.
As part of a national programme, Sussex MSK Health and East Sussex MSK Community Partnership want to understand how we can better support local businesses - helping people stay well at work and helping those whose MSK problems are a barrier to finding or returning to employment.
