Such great Sushi and amazing service!!! Really lovely to sit in or takeaway and the sushi is soooo good. You can tell the fish is really fresh and their hot dishes are also really nice - yet to find something I don't like.... 10000000% recommend!

we went here early in the year, around January time. Unfortunately most dishes are not very good, the only thing worth eating is the sushi, & sashimi. Other dishes were poor quality over cooked meat, and tempura that tastes a bit like bad fish in batter. Please improve we need a good Japanese restaurant.

Always a delight to come down to the restaurant to have a meal with my friends! Excellent service and the food never fail to disappoint me. Ordered a takeaway and it was really quick and stayed hot and fresh! Superb, will recommend! :)

The staff are always lovely, the food is prepared fast, I've never been diaappointed with a meal out at Yoku Sushi. They do have vegetarian and vegan options, which are absolutely delicious, only wish there were a few more! 10/10 restaurant.

Super restaurant!
We wanted to try Japanese food and we really were'nt disappointed. We were guided through the menu and wete brought a number of super, varied dishes, all of which were delicious - full of fantastic flavour and piping hot.
If you haven't tried Japanese food just go and trust them to provide a super meal. So good value in a friendly and traditional but modern atmosphere.
We have returned a number of times and the quality is always excellent!

I don't personally like sushi but there were so many other options which i loved the pumpkin croquettes and the katsu curry soo good! The desserts were interesting to try too would definitely go back!

Tried here on recommendation from friends as we love sushi, and we wasn’t disappointed, we really enjoyed every dish , all tasted very fresh , will definitely be back again to start working my way through the menu .
Service was very attentive aswell and all the staff weee very nice .
Well done considering the hard times the restaurants are going through with COVID .
And on Covid , all the staff were wearing mask and tables were placed well apart from each other and track and trace was being done , and hand sanitizer station was there .

I love sushi, my partner doesn’t; but after this meal she’s converted! The food was so delicious. We made the mistake of ordering too much food by choosing dishes to start with then a main course each. The sushi, tempura, edamame beans and seaweed would have been sufficient. Our main courses of a bowl of seafood noodles for me and a pork rice dish for my partner were lovely, but we were full by then. It’s a pity they didn’t have Asahi beer on draft as listed on the menu, they only had bottles. I can’t wait to return to have more sushi.

Great food , couldn't fault the service. Very reasonable price as well. We had 3 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts and drinks for £50. Noodles were delicious and hubby lived his katsu currey and dumplings

Unfortunately we haven't been eating out recently, for the obvious reason, and our meal at Yoku Sushi illustrated what we had been missing. Regarding the incredible food, we can definitely recommend the prawn tempura as a starter, this was followed by the Dragon Roll and the Salmon and Avocado Uramaki which were both wonderful. We finished our meal with a Beef Yaki Soba. Given the current restrictions the feeling in the restaurant was relaxed and yet still retained a great atmosphere. On a personal note it was great to be welcomed by Tom again, he is the perfect host backed up by the rest of the staff, who were incredibly efficient and helpful. Can't wait to go back!!

We visited this restaurant on the eat out to help out scheme but we loved it so much we ended up eating there again the next following day paying full price, definitely worth every penny! Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and great service :)

In its third year now, Yoku Sushi is establishing itself as an important fixture in a town which has been unfamiliar with Japanese food. We had a very light, crisp mixed tempura, excellent nori maki and two very good noodle dishes. The kimchi soup and noodles was particularly good. Service was excellent, the staff very nice. Covid measures were carefully done without getting in the way. They deserve to do very well. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant based solely on Tripadvisor reviews and boy we were not disappointed. The food was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly and attentive, prices were very reasonable. If I am ever back in Eastbourne I will definitely be back. Thank you for a delicious meal!!
