What a lovely shop to visit. Lots of original art pieces -for sale . Jan and Annie offer an excellent reasonably priced picture framing service. Jan has a great eye for frames to enhance any picture.
Annie has done some fabulous pieces of ‘upcycled’ furniture . Go in and have a chat and meet George (the dog) one of the many highlights of Transformations .
Jan and Annie of Tranformations give a very professional service with that very important personal touch. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the quality of their work.
I moved to Eastbourne in 2018 and met Janet and Annie soon after when I enquired about picture frames. Photography is my hobby and these two ladies have been very helpful and encouraging to me, suggesting areas to visit, helping me with framing and even displaying some of my photos in their great shop. Nothing is too much trouble for them and everyone who happened to be in the shop when I have visited has been very friendly and speak highly of Transformations.

Janet and Annie are so kind and helpful. They beautifully restore pieces of furniture, frames and they do all sort of art-related works. There are a lot of awesome things you can buy in their shop. I love that they exhibit the work of different artists on one of their walls every month. You can even buy those artworks too. Highly recommended.

Once again transformations have been really helpful in discussing picture frames, sourcing the frame we selected, reframed perfectly for a reasonable price, with a friendly attitude to our requests.

Always has great and unusual ideas for gifts, sells things made by local artists, restores furniture with great new materials, and always a friendly welcome and time for a chat. Oh and George (the dog) of course!
Annie and Janet are so friendly and welcoming. They always have time for a chat. George the dog comes up for some attention too. They make and sell some beautiful individual pieces of artwork, greetings cards and jewellery to suit different budgets and tastes. They also offer a framing service too.Their display window draws you in and you can always find something unique. They are both generous of spirit too.

I have known Jan and Annie for a number of years, their shop is an interesting collection of Arts and Crafts, picture framing facilities, and a warm welcome from George the dog,it's well worth popping in for a browse and to find that different present.

Amazing ladies, recovered some kitchen chairs after the cat destroyed them. Absolutely brilliant, fantastic work and very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Lovely helpful sisters..nothing is too much trouble for them. They also sell an interesting selection of local art and recycled furniture. The shop is a little gem.
I have used Transformations for framing pictures and restoration of pictures previously framed by others. In each case they have done a great job at a great price. They did not push me towards costly solutions but made suggestions that made my money go further. They have provided helpful advice to bring out the best in the artwork. A real pleasure to deal with!
A family run business, they have framed a couple of pictures beautifully for me, and I commissioned a felt model of my dog which has turned out perfect. They are friendly and provide a personal service. It’s lovely seeing their dog in the shop, and so useful that they allow my dog in. One time in the past I made a slight suggestion for improvement, and they acted on it, I’ve been really impressed.
