First visit yesterday kids had a great time. Ages 12 & 14. Lovely friendly staff who encouraged them to try different climbs. Lovely coffee too! Will definitely be going back.

We are so glad to have found this local indoor climbing wall. My daughter has been to a number of their instructed sessions and I would thoroughly recommend them. The gym owners and instructors are friendly and really want people to enjoy their time there.

What a fabulous experiences James was an outstanding instructor, was wonderful with my teenagers and had a great sense of humour. All of the staff were really encouraging and supporting. I highly recommend The Ordinary Climbers!

A great reason to come to Polegate. This friendly new climbing zone is small but packed full of interesting and varied routes. The team have put their hearts and souls into this place, and there's a nurturing inclusive vibe.

My son had a wonderful time at The Ordinary Climbers. Everyone was friendly from as soon as we stepped inside. Reassurance was offered so he felt confident but the children were also given enough time to try things out independently. We will go again!

Took the kids for an instructed hour climb, they loved it and the instructor was very friendly and helpful/encouraging.<br>Coffee, tea etc can be bought there, parking may be a problem during the week but seemed ok when we went at the weekend.<br>Overall very happy, maybe next time I will join them 😀

Just returned from 1st visit here with my 10y/o daughter. Really lovely place, staff welcoming, helpful and super friendly. Daughter not been climbing for 2 years, but got straight back in, staff on hand to offer tips/help and even the offer of someone to belay for me! They do have some autobelays with a decent variety of routes too. Reminded me of a spot I used to climb at 20 years ago where there was no pretense or ego, just people willing to help, teach and encourage. We were there at a pretty quiet time on a weekday, but I would be surprised if there wasn't a decent group of regulars. Also has a cafe on site, although we took our own lunch, but looked pretty good. Great place to which we will definitely be returning.

We took our grandsons for the first time today . They had a wonderful time . The staff were very friendly and Tom was great with them giving them guidance and cheering them on . We have already booked again . Highly recommended

I climbed for the first time a few weeks ago with the ordinary climbers and I was so nervous. I am not very strong or fit nor did I have any experience. I was terrified that my size and fitness levels would be a hinderance but I was made to feel very comfortable and capable. The instructor was so positive and reassuring and I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do without him! I’m booked in for my 3rd session and feel so determined with my fitness to help me with my climbing. Thank you!

A brilliant climbing gym. Friendly, welcoming staff, an all round inviting atmosphere. Good for experienced climbers or people are who just discovering climbing. I can't recommend it enough, this is something Eastbourne and Polegate really needed and I'm so pleased it's here.

For a number of weeks I have taken a student who I do alternative education with to use the climbing walls. The student was always made to feel welcome, whilst the staff also ensured he followed very important safety information. I highly recommend this place as I personally also felt very supported as being a new climber. 👍🏽

I’d never climbed before so took my family and we friend the introduction to climbing course and we loved it!!! Tom who taught us kept us all engaged and most of all we all felt safe. Even my 5 year old managed to get quite high up on the wall. Tom encouraged him by singing the spider-man theme song to him.<br>Great experience, will definitely go back.

My 6 year old boy goes climbing every week with his dad and ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and supportive, encouraging him to achieve his absolute best every time and teaching him some new techniques each week. They know him by name and fist bump him everytime they see him, which he loves and he always tells me all about his day when he gets home. I couldnt recommend them enough. I have one beaming, smiley, happy boy every week achieving new goals everytime and always excited for his next session.

Amazing place. Friendly staff that you can talk to and offer great advice. I've done both intro course and competency and I have felt safe and happy the whole time. Definitely a place to visit to get into climbing.

This place is GREAT! I honestly can not recommend it enough, the facilities, staff and the overall experience is first class. They have completely hooked me on climbing from being an absolute beginner and I have just passed my Competency to climb assessment 🎉🎊. I have taken my young boys a few times and some friends too and they all loved it and had a great time! Can't wait to go back 🧗🏼♀️
