We have stayed at the grand many times.\joined the elite club. Our sea view room was delightful , and the weather splendid. We are really looking forward to our next visit which will be around August time.

We were treated to Afternoon Tea at the Grand Hotel as part of a Golden Wedding Anniversary present and we spent a very relaxing afternoon in luxurious surroundings. The staff were very welcoming and attentive ensuring that we were well supplied with tea and coffee and the sandwiches, handmade sausage rolls, fresh scones and home made cakes were delicious. Highly recommended.

A most enjoyable stay. The Executive Seaview room with double aspect windows was beautiful, perfect. We choose to stay at the Grand usually to celebrate our Anniversary, particularly in view of the fact that as dancers we can enjoy the Grand Band who play beautiful music. Many thanks.

The Room was on the Small size for a Delux Double, as there was Not much room between the desk and the Bathroom. In most Hotels it would be classed as a Superior Single!
In spite of the misleading room title, I would certainly come again as it had the Wow feeling about the hotel

Stayed for one night for our anniversary. We were in a refurbished room which was so comfortable that we will request it when we next stay. Meal in Garden Room was excellent. Very nice touch when we were presented with two cakes with chocolate slice saying "happy anniversary"

Room described as land view, no visible land just an enclosed space consisting of drainage and sewage pipes. Description very misleading. For not a lot more could have booked room with an actual land view. Ancient TV with handkerchief size screen. Otherwise no complaints.

Fabulous stay in a welcoming Hotel, fantastic position, just the job for a January get away to celebrate a birthday, the dog stayed in the room and was provided with a bed and food for the weekend, the restaurant provided a good breakfast and a lovely evening meal

A really lovely hotel with great facilities. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful. One of our group were upgraded because their booking couldn't be located immediately and that was a lovely touch

We had a lovely weekend stay at the grand to attend a family occasion.
The staff were so attentive and friendly we really felt that we had been really well looked after.
We were lucky enough to have a suite and it was very clean and well appointed and made us feel like we were staying somewhere really grand.
Our only slightly negative comment would be that the drinks in the bar were just about the most expensive we have experienced anywhere but again the staff were very helpful and attentive.

I attended a luncheon to celebrate a cousin's Golden Wedding. The occasion was beautifully laid on. Delicious food, served with style and in lovely surroundings. I would highly recommend The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne for a similar gathering.

Spent a few days here as we had some Hyatt loyalty points to use up. A chance to get to know this beautiful hotel, it's like stepping back in time to a era that most places have forgotten. The elegance of the entrance and the very smiley, helpful staff made our arrival a pleasure. The upgrade from Deluxe to Executive room was a lovely extra and the room itself was wonderful. Unfortunately we booked too late to book into the spa as it was fully booked. Breakfast surpassed itself with plenty of choice both cold and hot. Wandering around the hotel all we can say is we're glad we made the effort! Well done The Grand.

Not the best afternoon tea that I’ve experienced. A group of 9 of us went for a 92nd Birthday.

No birthday cake presented which I thought was pretty poor despite this being noted on bookings.

Cakes were of good standard however I would question the quantity for a group of 9....we were all fighting over specifics!

We’re only offered one refill of tea!
