Our stay was wonderful and i’d highly recommend staying here. Whilst the decor may be considered dated, nothing appeared “tired” and it was impeccably clean. The decor was in keeping to the property and shouldn’t be looked down upon. The food is lovely and their restaurant is well worth a visit. My only criticism is the price of drinks at the bar; we found ourselves venturing out to the bars in the town centre as we couldn’t justify £15-£20 for a single drink - as nice as they were!

We stayed on the Winter Warmer deal which was very good, Lovely Hotel ,,very comfortable and friendly, Room excellent couldn't fault,Only disappointment was the Garden Restaurant, First night we ate in the Restaurant very disappointing, cold plates and luke warm food, brought it to the Restaurant Managers attention, asked him to touch the plate, which reluctantly he did (understand his reluctance) he agreed and said he would have a word with chef but we didn't here any more about it Next morning breakfast we ordered Toast and tea and asked it to be served all together,, how ever toast and tea was forgotten , we had to get a waiters attention and toast and tea was then served half way through breakfast ,This is not acceptable Such a shame as every thing else was good, second night we had room service which was excellent, every thing was piping hot We will certainly stay at the Grand again but will be reluctant to visit the Garden Restaurant, The other restaurant was closed for refurbishment so can't comment on that

Returned yesterday from a two night Winter Warmer break. This consisted of buy one night, get one free. You had to eat in the hotel restaurant on one night. You were also given a light lunch on the 2nd day and a bottle of wine in your room.
We had two deluxe rooms booked. One for my husband and I and the other for my mother in law. Rooms 18 and 19 looked as thought they were recently refurbished. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and the pillows were to die for. There was a nespresso machine aswell as a kettle. Everything was replenished twice a day, once in the morning and once at the turn down servcie. The bathroom had mini Molten Brown products which are lovely.
We ate in the Garden Restuarant on the first night which was just fabulous. Our order was taken in the bar and we were brought a lovely selection of olives, nuts, crisps with our drinks and then canapes. Really is true 5 star service. After dinner we were back in the bar and very happy to see that there was a live band perfoming. Lots of people up dancing which was lovely to see. We stayed till the very end of the music because the band were excellent. Only wish we knew how to dance properly.
Breakfast was wonderful and everything you could wish for. It was a leisurely experience and top notch service as always.
We vsited the spa four times and the pool is a great temperature and a very good steam room and jacuzzi.
The weather on saturday was awful but we took a drive to Seaford and came across a lovely pub called the Cuckmere Inn. Stunning views and great atmosphere. Didn't try the food as we were going back for lunch at the hotel. Definitely will next time.
The lunch included in the deal was Soup and a hot platter which was more that enough and we had it in the lounge. Again they brought olives, nuts and crisps.
We went to the lounge again on the Saturday night and listened to the band. The female singer really was excellent. I just loved listening to her. Its very rare that I would sit in a hotel bar all night but did on two occasions.
So all in all wonderful weekend. If the weather is bad, just soak up the atmosphere of the hotel. We have already booked to go back in May when hopefully can enjoy the outdoor pool too.
My mother in law has a blue badge so we were able to reserve a parking space but there didn't seem to be an issue for anyone getting a space.

Great location with a warm welcome from the front of house staff. Very nice bar, restaurants and spa facilities although the pool was overly busy mid afternoon. Would suggest either early or late in the day visits.

The room was wonderful lovely sea views and sun rise first thing in the morning was great to wake up to . The service in the Garden Restaurant and lounge were excellent . The location of the hotel is perfect for walks along the sea front to the town center and is close to all the theaters in the town . I would recommend it to you all

Excellent hotel. Only let down by a below par meal on our last night. Otherwise one of our favourite hotels. Would recommend to all friends. The views from the sea facing rooms are spectacular and are a must.

Stayed for one night. Service was excellent and could not be faulted, 5 star, rooms and some of the general areas are tired and very dated but comfy bed. Great sea front location, works taking place at hotel during visit.

A wonderful weekend spent enjoying exceptional playing from members of the LMP (the arrangement of Debussy's 'La Mer' for violin, cello and piano was amazing!) as well as being treated to fabulous three-course dinners with wine, served by attentive staff. We took full advantage of the lovely swimming pool, and will definitely come back next year for the 2019 LMP weekend!

Fantastic hotel . Attention to detail by all staff in providing a family party and making it extra special was excellent. Private dining, quality of the food (evening and breakfast), bedrooms and leisure facilities all receive top marks. Children also made to feel very welcome with a gift on arrival and a night cap of hot milk brought to the room at bedtime. Highly recommend.

One of the best rooms I've stayed in at a hotel in the UK. The Receptionist said that I had been upgraded. I knew I had because I paid an extra £45 at the time of booking! It was worth the extra. Good restaurants within 10 mins walk.

The service and food were excellent, unfortunately our room was not. Very old, scruffy and outdated furnishings, who puts carpet in the bathroom?!! Scuff marks on the two walls that we could see and no USB outlets to charge electronic devices. If it was us paying and not our company, we would have asked to be moved to a better room. In comparison to the excellent service provided by the staff, the rooms pale in comparison,

I have been many a time to stay at this fabulous hotel and always look forward to revisiting it
I was here for a corporate hospitality event but the team still looked after us brilliantly even though they had another big function on at the same time

We stayed over and the room was warm comfortable and I will definitely come again

We had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff were all warm and welcoming. Dinner was really lovely. Breakfast was very relaxed with a wonderful choice. The leisure facilities were very good. The wine list was very impressive but we did feel that it was a little overpriced.

From the moment we arrived I knew that we would enjoy our three day trip. Great and efficient welcome. The hotel has an old world charm and beauty that really appeals to us. Our room at the front of the hotel overlooking the sea with a large balcony was extremely comfortable (if not a little dated) soon to be refurbished I understand. We dined twice in the Garden Restaurant and on both occasions the food was first class as was the service. The Mirabelle Restaurant was closed for decorating but hope to visit next time in August. Breakfast was a truly scrumptious experience with everything you could possibly require. I particularly enjoyed the good assortment of speciality teas. All that with a great location and good parking. Thank you The Grand Eastbourne.
