Amazing hotel. You really feel special when you stay at the Grand in Eastbourne. Particular shout out to the front of house staff (concierge, porter, waiter at breakfast, waitresses at high tea) who went out of their way to look after us. The room was super comfortable, the bar and lounges are wonderfully elegant. Only watch out is that prices are not cheap, so if you are planning a few drinks in the bar, expect a 5* bill. Most important question, would we return? Without a hesitation, yes. Thank you to the staff at the hotel, my wife and I have added some wonderful memories as a result of your excellent work.

The Grand Hotel lives up to it's name. Beautiful surroundings, lovely food and wonderful, attentive staff.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was a reasonable size and had good bathroom with bath. Lots of decent tea and coffee supplies and toiletries. Bed was very comfortableandi had a good night's sleep on both nights. The room was situated to the back of the hotel so no sea view but a window out to Eastbourne.
Spa facilities are adequate with a small indoor pool, hot tub and steam room. Didn't try any treatments so cannot comment.
We had a decent breakfast both mornings with plenty of choice and good service. I also had an extravagant hot chocolate and a couple of scones in the lounge one afternoon. Staff are very warm and friendly which makes all the difference.
Very happy with my stay and I would return.

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Eastbourne for the weekend.
On the Ground Floor it was all decorated for Christmas.
I had room 131 which was a deluxe sea view room.
The room was nice and spacious.
It had a kettle and a Nespresso machine.
In the shower it had these soap dispensers on the wall.
However it was not clear at first what dispensed what as the writing on the dispenser was the same silver as the dispenser.
The Garden Restaurant was out of action as they were refurbishing it.
We had to eat breakfast elsewhere in the Hotel.
On Monday it was quite difficult to find where the breakfast was being served.
I had a meal in the Mirabelle Restaurant and the food was delicious as usual.
All the staff that I met were all so friendly and helpful. When I say that I am of course including all of the boys and girls that we do not see without whom the Hotel would not run so smoothly.
Special mention should be made for the all bar staff.
Message to management, look after them they are all good.
I mainly ate in the bar and the food was delicious.
I will not be going back down to the Grand Hotel Eastbourne until the New Year.

Exceptionally polite and super-helpful staff in all areas. Could not fault. The food was excellent - all meals of the day. Location great. Parking is not a problem and on arrival you are warmly greeted. Excellent Christmas 4-day stay.

Stayed there for a long weekend with our dog and had a great time in this property. It’s an outstanding building located in front of the beach and next to the center.
Pros: dog friendly, great service, great location, great property, good breakfast
Cons: dog friendly rooms are the outdated ones and the beds are small even though king size but still felt small. Mattress was very bouncy as well. We had dinner and it wasn’t great food so recommend eating elsewhere.

Went for an afternoon tea for 2 with my mother-in-law and had an amazing time we were relaxed. Wonderful food, wonderful service, wonderful music and we didn't want to leave and he was opposite the sea. And thank you to all the stuff that looked after us. I would look forward to going back again. This is a 100% great place for an afternoon tea with someone special

We booked an Executive Sea View room which cost over £700 for two nights. The weather was hot and the room was like a sauna. This type of room, despite it's name and the hotel having five stars does not have air conditioning. The staff are very friendly and the service and food are excellent.

The name of this hotel says it all. The service is impeccable and the grand hall is stunning. Food is delicious and the cocktails are the best. Best Old Fashion we have ever had.

We had an afternoon cream tea and although overcharged (rectified), we loved the ambience of this older styled hotel on the prom only minutes from the beach or walk toward seven sisters. Thoroughly recommended for a pampering weekend 👌

Quality, From the moment I made my booking to stay and during the week staying in the sea view largest penthouse suit available I could not fault a single thing. We are regularly guests and on this occasion we really did push the boat out but as a fair honest review all the staff and rooms are very well looked after. The Grand Hotel is no spring chicken of a building so its going to have a little patch in need of repair if you look closely. Arrive at the main entrance and be amazed at the scale of the place and its easy to know why the locals call the hotel The White Palace.
Book directly for some great packages, DBB or BnB, Spa Breaks, or just one night for a business stay.
Well Worth a visit.

Amazing, another level when it comes to service, can not fault the place. Standards are very high in all areas. I was thrown by the extra charge of presenting my beer on the bar after pouring. I suppose thats how the top end service works. More an FYI.

Gorgeous hotel right across from the Eastbourne Eye. Had a lovely afternoon tea. It was a bit slow to come out and the scones were not served warm but service was good overall and we enjoyed our experience in a lovely setting.

We still love the size and location of the Presidential Suite but service is certainly going downhill (other than the wonderful guys on the door). The Garden Restaurant is definitely mediocre with a dingy setting, extremely disappointing menu and poor service.

Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff... Nice clean peaceful leisure club... pool really just a dipping pool and the jacuzzi could do with being more bubbly, but makes a nice hot tub, and staff really friendly.

Both my brother & I have worked in several hotels in Eastbourne when we were in our teens! A “ light lunch “ was a special treat for my wife & I after ten years & more of little contact between my brother & I. My brother would appear to be “known “ by staff , from parking to service etc.
We felt thoroughly spoilt!
