While on holiday in Brighton we visited family in Eastbourne and went here for dinner. Service was good, friendly staff and food was very tasty. Gluten free choice was excellent so much so my daughter ate her dad's GF chocolate fudge cake....it was delicious!!!
The restaurant also sang Happy Birthday to my daughter who had just turned 18 and gave her a lovely card. The restaurant was very busy and seems to have a good reputation with the locals. Highly recommend. Good value 2 or 3 course set meal during the week as well.

We have been to Eastbourne for the first time and wanted to find a restaurant meeting our high requirements. I have found Pomodoro e Mozarella on tripadvisor before and got there straight from the station. That was the best ever dinner in my and my fiance's life. We got back to this restaurant twice as we could not imagine not having dinner there. Food and service is literally amazing. We got Calzone and another pizza whose name I don't remember and that was perfect. Another time we got some pasta. Although we got a wrong order we found all waiters really helpful and got it exchanged to the right now. We do often have dinners in restaurants all over UK and we have never been treated any better and have experienced soo delicious food. I will definitely come back and recommend to all my friends.

We were looking for a restaurant and came across this one. The staff were friendly, the service was fast and the food was lovely yet not expensive. My partner needed gluten free and this restaurant is perfect for that. We both had spag bol. Enjoyable experience.

Food was excellent. A wide range of pastas, sauces and pizzas including gluten-free options. The service was great even though every table was occupied. If you like ice cream then try the homemade cassata! A really good experience

We visited Eastbourne today and ate here at lunch time.
We had the 3 course lunch menu, and there isn't a single thing that I could find fault with. All the food was nicely presented, tasty and well cooked. The staff were very polite and the wine excellent and a good price.
I look forward to a return visit very soon.

My wife and I have visited "Pomodoro's" many times. They are always busy with a great atmosphere and service is always very good.
We would recommend very highly and we have taken many a guest there for a great night out.

A fantastic menu with great food. Great staff and a great atmosphere. We regularly visit with 20-50 of our staff and they take us in their stride, especially if we pre book the meals.

I am coeliac and was able to choose from a gluten free menu. And even have a beer!We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next night and it was as good.

Popped into this cheery restaurant for lunch. Although a Sunday, only wanted a pizza and it was one of the best. Also they stock Long Man Brewery's Long Blonde ale, a lovely local brew, which is a perfect accompaniment. Viewing other table's choices will definitely return and try more of the menu.

Mid price excellent Italian eatery, serving freshly made pasta, pizzas, seafood etc. Everything we had was good, but only a limited time available and the staff catered well with a sudden influx of early evening diners all in a rush! Squid starter very tasty and king prawn linguine equally so. Cost about £20-25 per head for two courses and a drink. Helpful staff.

We had booked but arrived early, were seated but asked to switch tables (before our food arrived) due to a late, large booking. We were happy to oblige and even happier when we were compensated by having our drinks paid for. A nice touch. The pizzas were lovely and service speedy but friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Despite this staff coped well with numbers.
Nice sardine, also seafood, starters, and the mains were excellent too, especially the calzone (folded pizza).

My family and I were taken here and thoroughly enjoyed the jolly and convivial atmosphere and really good food. The menu is surprisingly large yet they still manage to produce genuinely good food.
For a light hearted, relaxed and unpretentious evening it's perfect. We'll definitely be back!

We spent a very pleasant night at this restaurant last Saturday during the Airbourne weekend. The place was rammed when we arrived but we were immediately made very welcome by friendly staff. I imagined we'd be there forever waiting to be served but not so. We had very good and efficient service throughout plus, by the way, the food was very good too.

Recommend - good food delivered very quickly. Old fashioned Italian restaurant - very buzzy and lots of families and children - you could have forgotten you were in Eastbourne. They offer 10% student discount which my student daughter took advantage of (given on whole bill).

Usually go to Locanda which I still love but this sister eaterie is a cheaper alternative. I particularly love the three course sunday to Thursday set menu for £12.90 I cannot get past having the prawn cocktail, pollo ala Milanese and ice cream. (although I prefer their panna cotta but that's not on set.) I usually have different meals but here this is devine. Their pasta is perfectly al dente and the simple tomato sauce is delicious.
Its not as decadent as Locanda and you can eat quickly if you want but you are not rushed. I love Luca who owns both places and he is such a gent and always very welcoming. My kids love it here and try the veggie lasagne or the melanzane which is classed as a starter but is huge and if not having the set we have this ..goyjus

We ate here over the Airborne Air show weekend. The restaurant was absolutely rammed. The staff worked so hard to ensure orders were fulfilled and it was exhausting to watch them! The food was divine, hot and freshly cooked, the staff, although so busy, took the time to be attentive, professional and never lost their sense of humour. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
