This was more than a standard 'chain restaurant' Italian restaurant, it is a 'one-off' and a genuine Italian experience. A warm welcome greeted us and then we were seated in a safe place with high screens between us and the next tables.
Service was prompt and friendly.
The food was absolutely delicious, true Italian. The Calzone is massive and has tomato sauce (not Heinz but real tomatoes) at the base. The Monk Fish cooked perfectly, it was tender and tasty in the two choices of sauce on the menu.
We then enjoyed the delicious desserts of Tiramisu.
This is a perfect place to eat in the centre of Eastbourne.

Superb. Managed to find this restaurant on Saturday evening and was lucky enough to get a table. The fillet steak medallions were outstanding as was the peppercorn sauce. The tiramasu and profiteroles were stunning. Lots of booze in the tiramasu:). Definitely recommend this restaurant.

My favourite restaurant in Eastbourne. Always great food served in a warm and friendly atmosphere. As I'm not eating out as much recently, I've taken to ordering their Pizza al Formaggio di Capra, which is CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT! Great as a delivery, great as takeaway by the beach!

What a gem of an Italian Trattoria; the food is fantastic and it is really good value for money. Grandparents, Children and grandchildren all thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

Visited the restaurant twice during tennis week as always. - Tried both the set menu and a la carte. Both excellent value. Great food,wine and service as always. Well done to all the staff.

A really lively atmosphere. There were six of us at a postponed office Christmas bash. Attentive Italian waiters who were a bit cheeky without being annoying. Great cocktails and reasonably priced and tasty food. We'll be back.
