Have just moved to Eastbourne, though knew the town fairly well before. On Wednesday we arrived here almost by accident and were so impressed. Service is very attentive and friendly, the menu is extensive and the food wonderful. And authentic! Excellent pizzas, beautifully presented salads and great pâté and whitebait. Lovely atmosphere - will return again and again!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Came for dinner on my anniversary, and had a very friendly greeting from the waiters, followed by delicious food, beautifully presented, and at the end of our meal the waiters brought us a complementary glass of limoncello each. A lovely meal.

My sister and I dined here during our recent stay in Eastbourne, the restaurant having been recommended by our hotel. It was lovely. Open, lively, busy, friendly with excellent food and service. I very much look forward to a return visit when I am next in the area.

Without having to argue about it, we topped and tailed our recent time in Eastbourne here. A single course lunch (pastas and pizza) with a friend on the Sunday of our arrival and three courses for dinner (starters, pastas and puddings) as a couple on the Sunday of our departure were both examples of why this remains a fail-safe choice for visitors to the town.
The service on both occasions was first rate, the food generous, tasty and well presented, and the charges quite reasonable, so we will certainly return on our next sojourn in Eastbourne.

Called in on a Sunday of the bank holiday around 7pm and understandibly was quite busy, and continued to get even busier. What was very difficult to deal with was the level of noise. The main open plan room must hold at least 80 covers and it became clear that people couldnt hear there conversations so began to shout and so it went on till everyone was shouting and became an unbearable experience to the point that we left as soon as we had finished. Food was reasonable but the ambience just reaaly spoiled this eating experience.

Had lunch here the other day with my wife and mother in law. The food was good and the service was good, we picked items from both the set menus and the a la carte. If you are around the area being just off the centre of town it is worth eating here but it is not a destination type restaurant. Always very busy with a very loyal local clientele.

I came here with my boyfriend and his family on bank holiday weekend. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy we received brilliant service and our waiter was extremely friendly. We each had a starter and main course and they were all faultless. My boyfriends mums and dads lamb and veal were so tender and delicious. My boyfriend and his sister had fillet steak and they were brilliant cuts of meat cooked perfectly. I am known as carbonara snob and I must say it was one of the best I've even eaten. For the high level of food standard it was lol reasonably priced. We live in Essex and I would travel the distance to eat there again. Brilliant food, great service :)

Was recommended to this place via advertising on a theatre ticket.
What great value £10.95 for a 2 course meal With 10% discount As a lady on my own I was well looked after. Food was good. My original table was near a door and very chilly, so asked to be moved even though it was very busy and very few options left! 2 glasses of Prosecco at reasonable prices. My only negative is once you have asked for the bill and not asking for a dessert and coffee, all waiters, put a blank on you, show disinterest and just await for the next person to arrive. No one says thank you, before you leave. This spoilt the experience

We had a great leaving party for a colleague. The staff were charming, attentive and as always the food was extremely good.

I have been here several times and the standard of food and service is consistently high. It is immensely popular and busy, no matter what time of day or day of the week, but I have never experienced any glitches in food quality or service. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Early evening it can be noisy when it is very busy, but the food is so good you don't really notice. On my last visit I had the best sea bass ever.

We celebrated my sister-in-law's 70th birthday at Pomodoro, there were 40 of us & I must say the service we received was fantastic. The food orders & drinks were correct & were serviced promptly in a helpful & friendly manner. The food was lovely & great value for money & we will definitely dine in this restaurant again when we visit Eastbourne.

Popped in for a late lunch on the way to the airshow, seated quickly but table cramped for four. Took a while to order but food arrived relatively quickly. We ordered a couple of pizzas, did not look particularly inspiring, and a chicken dish which was ok.q Atmosphere wise, I feel it would be more enticing in the evening. Do not live in the area and would not travel to return.

It wasn't my first visit as we like this restaurant very much together with my daughter. So when we were thinking where to go for our pre-holiday dinner, it was the only choice. The food is so very tasty - bruscheta as my starter following by spagetti carbonara, so very delicious. We love this place and we will be back for another dinner or lunch.

We usually go here when we're in Eastbourne but last night it wasn't so good. We ordered bread and balsamic to start and they were pushing our main courses on to is before we had finished it. I had salmon pasta which I had had before and was absolutely delicious but last night it was just salmon, pasta and cream: no smoked salmon and spinach as before and very little taste. My husband had to put chilli oil on his pizza to pep it up. I don't know what went wrong as it isn't cheap.

We arrived here soon after the air show finished as the restaurant was quickly filling up, although we got a table I was concerned that so many people coming in at once would result in a long wait. This was not the case at all, service was very quick with lots of staff and the food came out surprisingly quickly.
The food was well presented and tasty, most portions was a good size although the salads did leave me hungry.
The only downside was the price, for an average Italian each dish was a few pounds more than it should have been.
Although it was ok I wouldn't go back as its nothing special and Italian restaurants like this are very common without the premium price tag.

We have eaten here a couple of times. A large restaurant with an extensive menu - Italian for English tastes is how I would describe it. I'd set it above most 'Italian' restaurants (including the chains) because of its gluten-free menu. A wide-range of gluten-free pasta dishes (I would recommend the lemon and saffron prawn), but most of all the pizzas. Not the usual 5-inch dross gluten-free offering that you get at most restaurants, but a proper, tasty pizza! Well worth a visit.

Yet again myself and friends had a brilliant meal here. The service is fantastic, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was brilliant and I am always impressed that on a Wednesday evening, a large restaurant of this size is always full!
