I was part of a group of four with tickets for the nearby Congress Theatre. There is a 10% discount on production of your tickets at this restaurant. So a good incentive to visit.
Well in our view this was a good choice of restaurant. The menu is extensive and is good Italian cuisine. As a group we ordered veal and fish based dishes and all were well presented and dare I say tasty.Service was efficient and the staff coped well as the restaurant was very busy. Portions could be a little larger but this is a small gripe.

The set 3 course meal is excellent value for money . Nice home cooked Italian food .Staff good and only slightly negative is that it gets so busy you can't hear yourself think sometimes.

Just been for our 4th visit. Although busy Saturday and not booked staff quickly found table. Food excellent as was " Rose" wine. Overall would not have a problem recommending.

Never eaten here before but called in as menu looked good and reasonably priced. What a great find, excellent food, nice wine and tremendous value for money but without comprising the quality of food. We've already booked to go back and would highly recommend a visit.

Staying in Eastbourne for a few days came here on our first night. Was very busy but all staff were still attentive and friendly, food very good, great value set menu, would highly recommend

We ate here before going to the Theatre and the place was very busy as they had a very large party of Foreign Students in. Though we only had just over an hour to eat the food came out in plenty of time and was superb. My mother had a quartro formaggio pizza which was definitely home made and not your usual Pizza Hut rubish. I had Tortolenni and it was as good as I have eaten in Italy. My partner had seafood tagletelli and she absolutely loved it. Service excellent and very personnel, with owner greating as many as he could.

Came here for a suprise hen party with a bunch of 30 women!
The resturant catered very well for all of us. They were able to plan a set 2 or 3 course menu. The food was great and the atmosphere was fab too!

Six adults and 2 kids 2 pm Saturday afternoon, had a spacious table with elbow room, we all ordered different stuff and some wanted starters as main courses etc etc.. anyway the accommodated all our wishes and were very attentive.

We visited here as a group of 7 on a very busy Saturday evening. We thought we would be waiting ages. However the service was excellent and very quick. All the staff members were friendly and had a laugh with customers which created a really nice atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh and the wine we ordered was excellent.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

Had a wonderful three course meal here with friends last week. Ciould not fault the service which was prompt and attentive. The food arrived promptly, was piping hot and absolutely delicious.
A little bit noisy due to a group of very boisterous ladies on a night out but that apart we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and felt we had received excellent value for money.
If ever we are back in Eastbourne, this will be our number one restaurant.

We visited early evening on a Sunday when the restaurant was quiet. The service was attentive and timely.
The food was very good and my Calzone was one of the best I have had (this is normally what I eat in Italian restaurants)
The food was reasonable priced. We did not order wine and drank only sparkling water so cannot comment on quality or price.

My partner and I have been to this restaurant a number of times. The food was always very good and fresh. I recommend the ministrone soup. The only thing which can be a little disturbing is the noise level, as the restaurant is very popular especially with families and there is no seating area which is a little more secluded.where it is a bit more quiet.

Ate at Pomodoro's again this evening - we've been coming here for years. It's a huge restaurant, humming with diversity and people simply relaxing and enjoying their meals. The food, in my experience is always excellent with a wide variety on offer plus weekly specials, including well-though-out gluten-free options.
The service is friendly, fast and efficient; the owner is ever-present and always remembers you.

On our first night in Eastbourne we were recommended the Pomodoro and were not disappointed. The food was well presented and excellent and the service matched the food. There was always a waiter on hand when you needed something yet you did not feel the waiters were hovering around you. Enjoyed it so much we had to return and after a day out it was the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend.

We were a group of ten who booked a table for 8.00pm on a Saturday evening. When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy and unfortunately we were not seated at our booked table until nearly 8.45. Being a large group,we were very understanding..there were other people who were kept waiting for their tables who were not as accommodating. When we were shown to our table, the service and food was faultless. There is a set menu to chose from or an extensive a la carte menu, so we were spoilt for choice. There were numerous vegetarian options too. Service was quick friendly and efficient.I ordered Tiramisu for dessert and was a bit disappointed as it was small and prepackaged. The other desserts looked more "homemade". Otherwise, the food ,overall was very good.

This restaurant was recommended by the Guest House we were staying in and it was an excellent referal. The service was fantastic from all staff who were very friendly and very accommodating of requests. They were also very good with the children and all in all this made it a very enjoyable evening. My kids are older and i'd like to think well trained although sometimes shy when sepaking to waiters etc so their humour and approach to chatting with the kids was much appreciated.
