It was easy to join via the Internet, an the engineers that installed the modem where very good and explain everything.
Only down side i had to contact my last broadband provider myself where as bigger companies do it for you

This review is for the Lightning Fibre installation performed in terrible, wet and windy conditions today by Damian who shinned up a telegraph pole, expertly placed the hardware with due care and attention and quickly, politely and cleanly finished the job. Bravo him.
As for the service itself, 3 out of 4 devices picked it up immediately (a Windows 10 laptop is having some difficulty but we'll sort it); it's claiming to be 3 times faster than my old land line - and cheaper too. So far so good.

From face to face signing up locally, to phone call reminders of the appointment, and then the two guys who arrived to wire it all up, all staff were not only professional and efficient, but friendly and human! However technical life gets, I will always appreciate real human involvement.

The person connecting our house arrived promptly and was very efficient. I was able to have the cable coming into the house in my preferred place and the work was carried out very neatly. After that it was easy to get everything up and running. Faster than our previous (not fibre) internet and a bit cheaper.

Had lightning fibre installed in November, the two installers (Dom & Ricky) were excellent. Discussed where we wanted the connection to enter our property, work was neat and tidy, and good explanation of the system at the end of the installation. Internet is working well

The broadband so far seems to be more reliable than my previous service, and whenever I have contacted customer service they are responsive, courteous and efficient, so I've given stars for that. However, I've taken off a star because I had to contact the team for 2 different issues within the first week (a billing error and also damage caused during installation), and I've taken off another star because the installation experience was not good at all.
I don't know if the engineers were in a hurry, but it felt like every possible corner that could be cut was cut - including things like not checking walls for wiring etc before drilling (and therefore having to start again when they hit problems), not communicating with me about where the router etc should go, not explaining how to set up my various devices on the new network, and not telling me the full extent of a piece of damage caused.
I contacted the customer service team about the biggest piece of damage caused during installation and they were happy to help resolve the issue. The other issues I've dealt with myself - but it would obviously have been preferable not to have the issues in the first place, and unfortunately the installation experience has left me hesitant to recommend Lightning Fibre to others. If it had only been for the installation I'd have given a lower rating - but as I say, the connection is working & the customer service team are helpful, so hopefully now the installation's done it'll be onwards and upwards from here 🤞

Great installation team, checked I was half with everything before installing. Really friendly guys.
Speed has been consistent and great, max advertised too which is a bonus as I know WiFi isn’t always as fast as the speeds they say.

My installation couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Fibre laid across the garden and through the house wall by polite and efficient engineers, and the whole thing completed in 1 1/4 hours. Great price and great service!

All went very well, although the first router failed, so a second was quickly put in place.
We think the connection to landline has gone through today. Incoming calls 'shout' your tel. no. before the hearing the callers number, but it is so frantic it is impossible to hear the number clearly.

I've just upgraded from 1 Gbps to 2.5 Gbps. Lightning Fibre made the upgrade so easy. Fitting the new upgraded Modem and Router took minutes.
