As a brand new customer l found the installation was speedy and efficient. Sam and Andy were so very helpful with my change over on Tv, mobile and iPad. I am very happy with my new speed etc.

What was good was that they arrived on time, they were courteous and respectful of my property and the final job was neat, tidy and they checked it was all working.
What was not so good was that the position where I wanted the modem installed, the main guy said (at first) that he couldn't achieve. I explained to him where the cable hole could be drilled to achieve my aim and he then agreed. Had I not been a practical guy, I could have had a more untidy instal, in terms of unsightly wires. At the end of the job he asked me to auto sign that I was happy with instal and when I scrolled down the screen I noticed that it stated I had received a handbook, which I hadn't, so I told him and his mate got one. He was supposed to write the password in the handbook, too, but this wasn't done, rather, he showed me where it was on the reverse of the modem. I subsequently noticed that the instal guys were supposed to write their names in the handbook, which they hadn't and they didn't introduce themselves, which would have been a nice customer service touch. When they were finished and left, I looked over the job again, inside and out and found they had left packaging from modem in my hall and plastic packaging in my front garden. Wouldn't have taken much for them to take their rubbish away. Overall, whilst the installation was completed in a timely manner, it was nothing more than I expected, satisfied, but no 'wow' factor, so I can only rate this as 'average'. A few more customer service touches would help improve others experiences in the future, methinks.

I made two telephone calls to the office prior to arranging an appointment for the change from BT to Lightning Fibre and in both cases my call was answered almost instantly, which in itself is a rarity in the 21st Century, so for me that was a great start.
I had some questions that I wanted answers to, before going ahead with the change, and these were all answered, in detail.
When the guys came to the house to carry out the work, they came within the stated 'time frame'. unlike BT, who didn't even turn up.
The guys were very efficient and cleaned and tidied up at the completion of the job.
The entire process was excellent, and has been by far, my best 'customer experience in many many years and it doesn't surprise me that they receive the excellent reviews that they do.

Great service from start to finish, although I had to get in the loft and help pull the cable through the wall and down the cavity but on the plus I got the control gear where I wanted it and no cables down my outside wall 👍

As for signal, I got the 1gb package but haven’t really had more than 300- 500 since installed, the signal around the house is only fairly good down stairs, upstairs is 79mbps not great. Had to reboot several times and only on my first week.

The router was placed where I wanted it to be. They did have a few problems but overcame them and the system has been working perfectly so far. So much better (and faster) than the broadband I had before.

Brilliant service,was fitted very quick by Andy and Jacob and exactly where i asked for it to be fitted. Both guy's avid gamers so knew what i wanted it for. I was used to 25mbps or less with bt and as a gamer that speed wasn't any good for streaming and took an age to download anything. Brilliant now as now have 150mbps download and 154 upload speeds so gaming and streaming no problem at all. Thoroughly recommend lightning fibre to everyone as I'm extremely happy with mine and it's only £22 a month as well. They also do a 50mb service on a social tariff at £15 a month and you can upgrade or downgrade at anytime if you want. I got mine on their Xmas sale and didn't need anymore speed than that but the upper tarifs aren't that expensive either I'm just trying to keep costs down at the moment so what I've got suits me fine and very happy with it. So far no interuptions at all in service and just does exactly what it says on the tin and you can't ask for more than that.

Arrived on time, pleasant chaps, explained what they were going to do, assumed that did what they said as the system works. Left place tidy. They had to take up part of the drive, which they put back exceedingly well.

The chap that did the installation was pleasant and help full, i have noticed the quality of the broad band so far is good / fast, also camera works more efficiently on footage, the laptop was noticeably brighter on the screen, do not think its my imagination, signal is an improvement to my previous supplier. only gripe was the password being a bit fiddly to install with some devices with the ^ symbol in.
