Rung up to see if could make use of their blackfridays deals. (I'm still had at least 6/7months left on contract), so a case of "Don't ask, Don't get".
Spoke to David, within 3 minutes, swapped my price over to the blackfriday price, restarts my contract for 2 years - not an issue as i won't be swapping anytime soon.

We arranged to have Lightning Fibre installed in our home. Unfortunately, my husband got the dates wrong, so he wasn’t here when the guys came. The two guys, Hamza and Waseem, were able to lend a hand helping me clear a space in our garage which was needed for the cables to run through. It was a freezing cold day, but they worked quickly and thoroughly. They took their shoes off when in the house and cleaned up after drilling holes. They checked everything and made sure I consented to the work they had done. They also helped me put everything back in the garage when they had finished. Thanks guys 👍🏻

Simple process to place order, very courteous on the help desk, date and time of appointment was given there and then. Week before installation appt. a team came to install the tubing and fibre to the outside of my property. On day of installation Billy turned up on time, walked through the process with me and discussed best location for the equipment. I left him to it and he professionally did exactly as we had discussed. Early days yet but so far all is good. Thank-you Lightning Fibre and Billy for a job well done.

The only criticism would be the new router and its flashing green lights which are quite intense at night (router has to be located in bedroom} so have to cover up or switch off. Would be much better as a simple box.
LF were able to remotely switch off the flashing green lights, so now happy add extra star!

OK. The speed at which the tecno men did the installation was 1st class and with prior reference to me on siting of the wall modem and direction of wiring from the nearby pole. I thought that more time could have been spent helping me on setup of IPlayer which caused several calls to the most helpful staff at L/Fibre Eastbourne office. I do now have to mount the modem myself with 2 screws. The net result, however, is a much better signal, better tv picture and sound, and much faster log-gon to IPlayer. Quite satisfied customer. We have been with Lightning Fibre since they first offered a service to our home. They have responsive and competitive pricing. Their support service app is responsive with quick turn arounds. We have yet to optimise our wifi signal distribution about our home and we have requested a second aerial to spread the signal further which has been delivered on the first working day after it was requested. They provide a strong internet service with excellent support. I'd be happy to recommend them as the local specialists when they come to your area.

Lightning Fibre have given me a free period so I can get their special offer without a penalty from my previous provider. Installers Dom and Ricky turned up, they were smart, polite, did a lovely job (and very tidy) and my 150Mbps link came up and stabilised within a couple of minutes. Though we are not heavy bandwidth users, 150Mbps vs 38Mbps previously is very noticeable and, I have to say, very nice. On experience so far, I thoroughly recommend this company and it's service. I will be adding VOIP telephony after Christmas
