While there have been one or two minor downtime incidents during that time they didn't last long. Perhaps 10 minutes at the very most. The service has been extremely reliable. I received an email regarding planned maintenance work which only happened once a short time ago and was done in the early hours of the morning.
Speed has been consistently fast with a low latency (e.g. about 4ms to bbc.co.uk). I can't fault the service. On the few occasions that I've needed to contact customer service about something they've always been friendly and knowledgeable.
I look forward to seeing more details about the upcoming 3 gigabit package that, as I understand it, should be rolled out next year. At least that's what I read in a fairly recent news article on another website.

Initial phones calls with my partner were apparently very polite and helpful. Tanya, Andy (and Damine, who...I didn’t meet) were also just this. They turned up nice and early, were very respectful when in and around the property and started the setup and just cracked on. They were super friendly and communicative when it came to the system and it’s setup. They showed me the speed via phone app and were up front about 1GB never being quite 1GB. But the speeds been so much noticeably better. Brilliant in fact. Also when leaving, let me know about who and how to contact someone with any issues. Fab bunch.

From the first phone call I recieved from luke about lightning fibre, it was plian sailing from that point onwards. Great communication. First installation didnt go according to plan because of placement of Toby box, but the installers offered alot of advice. Mark came out and worked out how to fix the problem. Ash the installer did a great job finishing the installation. Very pleased.

Quick installation lead time and efficient hook up on the day. All explained very clearly with very helpful installers. Speeds are what we need and fast, and connectivity doesn't drop out. That's essential for our work from home, we couldn't be without it to be honest. I would recommend lightning fibre to anyone who is considering it.

LF have been very helpful and courteous when dealing with me as a customer. I have found that raising a ticket is very easy to do although, at times, I have found a conversation by telephone was quicker. I understand they are rolling out a huge project and must be extremely busy so I'd imagine this will improve over time, but it's still important to keep that customer experience high at all times.
I would have given 5 stars, but dropped 1 star for the installation. Had install date originally planned for 16/11. However, on install day, the engineers realised that they didn't have a long enough cable to connect my property to a nearby telegraph pole, and so had to abort (they did take time to install the equipment in the house). After a few conversations back and forth over the coming days, I was told that the pole was too far away to connect to directly and that I'd have to get a wayleave agreement agreed/signed by my neighbour. Long story short, this was all done and dusted and content with workmanship from engineers (thanks Liam and others) who ensured that cable was kept hidden - but finally installed on 7/12, so almost a month on. I would have expected that a pre-install survey would have identified these issues early on so my expectation was managed in a better way! :)
However, since install (I write this about a week on), I've had no problems whatsoever with the service - no dropouts - just continuous lightning quick internet - so 5 stars for that! Thanks LF :)

Owen and Eionn arrived promptly in awful snowy and freezing weather conditions. They were very polite and courteous and had a very positive attitude. They consulted me about what I’d like then planned the works to be carried out. Starting straight away and carrying out the work quickly and efficiently and timely manner. No fuss no mess just got straight on to it.
When they’d finished Owen explained everything to me. Showing me the outside work as well as the inside. Checked the speed and told me what to expect. Made sure I understood and had a contact number in case of any issues. Overall a very pleasant visit. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending the company to family and friends based on this. Thank you everyone from initial contact to final installation.

Good clear communication, job completed correctly and on time scheduled, Ash and Jack who did the installation were polite, cheerful and tidied up, gave useful advice, and so far performance has been excellent, and last but not least, the 'deal' for fibre surpasses any other by some way.

All employees who visited were excellent. Originally Charlie, Stuart and Josh, and today with an extender Andy and Nathaniel. 3 weeks of wifi drops, with only remote help from Oli, who tried his best. I had to buy ethernet cable and adapter and take laptop in for service (nothing wrong with it). Connection resolved by clever neighbour! Joined because local, so expected actual visit to resolve issues. But all working well now.
