I'm very pleased with the Lightning Fibre installation in our apartment .The process was smooth, and the engineers Andy and Nathaniel were efficient and professional. I now enjoy lightning-fast internet,( 150 -140 Mb WiFi in all rooms ) and it has made a significant difference in my online experience. Highly recommended!

After finally being ‘live’ in my area I ordered FFTP from Lightning Fibre. A local company and competitive prices. On day of installation I was able to discuss where I wanted the modem installed etc. Both Charlie and Kieran were very helpful and after some discussion we agreed on where to install the equipment. I was very happy with their work and they are a credit to Lightning Fibre.

We had Dan and George install our Lightning Fibre. They were exceptionally polite and did a fantastic job with the installation. No mess, and very tidy throughout. Two genuinely lovely guys that were a pleasure to work with.
The broadband itself is every bit as fast as it says. There will occasionally be a slower day, but on a 500Mbs connection, we have never dropped below 200Mbs (it usually hovers around the 430Mbs mark).
[The only slight letdown is that the ZYXEL router provided is pretty poor at getting through walls (but this is the same with most entry-level routers) so the speed does drop significantly in other rooms, even with the extender, so we're looking more realistically at 70Mbs in other rooms with the extender set up.
LF recommend using cables for optimum speeds, but in a rented property, drilling holes through the walls is ultimately deposit suicide, so I will probably eventually look at investing in an upgraded MESH router to fix the issue.
At the end of the day, it's still cheaper than our old BT line that struggled to pull 35Mbs even in the same room as the router, therefore I have decided not to knock it from a 5* to a 4*]
*** UPDATE: The speeds at the other end of the house have suddenly shot up to 200Mbs... not sure why the sudden increase, but even without the extender, the farthest point in the house from the router is now receiving approximately 200Mbs ***

They had challenges at the start of our install. But when asked to sort them out they did all that they could to fix the problem. Our install was delayed a week but on the other hand it didn't take the 6-8 weeks that had been suggested. The team have been very friendly. A nice bunch of people.

What can I say - my Engineers Jack & Matt arrived on time and did a cracking job on the installation I could not tell where they had run the cable it was done so neatly. I have had a couple of blips in service but other than that after 6 days very impressed

Loving Lighting Fibre, it's like different kind of experience, no waiting forever for Netflix to load, I can download 50GB games in minutes not days like before.
