We decided to use Lightning Fibre purely based on what we had read about their service. From the initial order online to the pre setup then the actual installation day I was very impressed. The install guys were polite, professional and explained the whole process as they went along and included us in any decisions that needed to be made rather than just giving us what we got. Charlie, Ben and Nate all represented the company very well and based on my experiences I would happily recommend Lightning Fibre. Add to this the great internet speeds we now have and we are very happy customers.

Barely any downtime events. Very stable and reliable since 11 Jul 2022.

I had to contact customer service this morning via the phone because my ONT's 10G ethernet port stopped working overnight.

This was the first time I contacted customer service via the phone so I didn't know what to expect. For example, many other ISP's usually read through a script and treat the customer like a novice even if the customer has experience in networking and they've tried every possibility such as replacing the ethernet cable, power cycling, replacing the router, etc.

Well, I'm pleased to say Lightning Fibre's customer service did not go through that with me and saved a great deal of time. I explained the problem, I explained what I've done such as replacing the ethernet cable and replacing the router, and they immediately knew the reason and the solution was quick and simple. Internet access is restored and the phone call itself was at most a few minutes. Very quick to answer the call too.

Two lovely guys- Damian and Billy- took trouble to install cable just where I wanted it and did a really neat job inside and out. Very pleased with the speed so far and the personal feel of this company.

I'd been interested in getting Lightning Fibre for a while but it wasn't available in my area. I has a call from Rob to let me know it was now available in my road, l got a fantastic deal and a considerable saving from my old internet supplier.The installation was booked and came around quickly, the installers arrived at the time that was promised, worked quickly and efficiently, installed the equipment where l wanted it (unlike some other companies). They were in and out in an hour (it's an easier install coming off of the telegraph pole) without waking up our napping 3 year old or leaving a mess so a massive thanks to Frederick and Matt for a great install.
I did have a bit of an issue accessing the router controls but that was soon resolved by Adam and Oli.
It's been a great experience so far, so a massive thank you to all of the team at Lightning Fibre, great to support a local business!!

Good fast broadband as promised. Not 5 stars as occasional blips and we had to wait 9 months for it.
Installers were great, efficient, clean, polite, explained what they were doing clearly.
Excellent as been the access when I have called up for help. So different from call centre protocols and mentality. This alone is a USP!

Everyone I have spoken to in the company have been polite and courtious! Work was completed in a very timely manner even though I had to ask the engineers to come back as I had a school run to do!

The pre installation is a good idea, saves time on the day and irradiates any problems. The installation crew were on time, knowledgeable and polite, respectful of my property . They left the front garden tidy. Everything was working when they finished

Call centre staff prompt to answer phone & helpful , however having had email confirmation that installation would PM I received a message from engineer the day before to say it would be AM. Re-arranged plans only for engineer to arrive in the afternoon. Also thought using cable ties to fix fibre cable to drain pipe was a bit poor.

I give them 10 stars if I could. They came in to install my lightning fibre and there was an issue which they sorted out. Installation went smoothly after that. We opted to move to "Lightning Fibre" from our previous provider to receive broadband connectivity at much higher speeds and to use a local company with definite personal contact. Our new hyperfast broadband was connected on 4 October 2023 and we are delighted with it. Such an improvement. Great local company in Eastbourne and would recommend to anyone. A very satisfied customer! Brilliant!
