I had fibre installed end of August and Damien,Matt and Billy still came out despite the horrendous wet weather that day they were friendly polite explained what they were doing right from the start and after discussing position of boxes they got straight to it at end of job asked if I was happy with it all .. so far I've had no drop outs from net connection despit running PS4 couple of android phones and streaming services I would 💯 recommend them to anyone looking for full fibre services with a local company 👍

Every touch point with us was perfect, from the initial enquiry, to the calls and checks running up to the install and then the install itself and the follow up call.
The equipment is so much better than the generic cheap global brands such as vodafone, Now, BT etc etc.

All communication was prompt and accurate, and Levi and Ash were friendly, courteous and professional throughout the installation process. They came on the arranged day and worked very efficiently. The old BT entry was blocked so they had to lay another pipe. This was done quickly on the same day. All the installers were polite and considerate which gave us confidence in the provider. Speed much faster than previously and cost lower - what's not to recommend!

Easy communication, prompt attention.
There were a few minor negative points that would have made my score higher, on the outside of the wall the capping doesn't look to be fixed very securely, the cable was agreed to be fixed to my party wall rather than in the flower beds but being only 1" - 2" from the soil level without any conduit to protect it does look a little vulnerable. When I arranged for the installation we agreed that WiFi extenders would be required only the fitters were not aware of this & didn't have any on the van, I have since had the sent out in post, many thanks.
Other than those small points the service was a good experience.

Recently had Lightning Fibre installed, process was quick and easy installers didn't muck about.
After it was installed, internet speed difference was immediately noticeable, the router that is provided is decent as well, WiFi extending to the entire house without any issue.

The final installation took some time, but I'm more than pleased with the performance and the speeds delivered. I was a little disappointed by the fact I had conflicting information regarding the installation right up to the week before the intended installation date.
The installers however were determined to deliver the end result and were polite, friendly, and efficient.
I would definitely recommend Lightning Fibre. I think they prove that mainstream providers given their charges could deliver a less expensive product. I hope that Lightning can maintain sensible cost levels without the excessive annual increases applied by others.

George and Dan were great. The install turned out to be a lot more tricky than anticipated but they didn’t give up. They worked way past their time to get the job done and nothing seemed too much trouble. The dogs loved them too!
So far the wifi speed is loads better than what I had previously. I can even pick up wifi in places I couldn’t before.

The sales process, pre delivery communication and actual installation were excellent. However 4 months into an otherwise stable service the router began to fail to correctly allocate IP addresses to devices connected via Ethernet. Wireless connection worked fine, Ethernet failed. LF tier 1 support suggested all the normal procedures, none of which solved the problem. Their final suggestion was to get a third party router and use that instead of their supplied router. This I have done. Problem solved. IP addresses successfully allocated - but why should I have to buyout LFs poor network management software with a 3rd party router. For their network solutions.. 1 star… but overall 4.
