I recently visited the Langham with a close relative on a cold, rainy, November evening. What a delightful place! We had a meal in the bar area (the restaurant was fully booked). From the moment we entered the lobby until the moment we left, every staff member was gracious and helpful. We ordered fish (locally caught) and mussels. Beautifully prepared and presented, every bite was delicious. The Langham is elegant without being pretentious - a rare remaining example of a quintessentially classic, historic, venue - hospitality practiced as it should be.

We went for afternoon tea to celebrate a relative's birthday. The food was delicious, just wish there were more sausage rolls!! Staff were really friendly and helpful. We would go again.

Couldn't fault the service. Nice decor. Very clean rooms. Food was lovely. Only downside was that the walls seemed very thin. Could hear a lot during the night! The breakfast was excellent. Staff very attentive and efficient. Would definitely go back there for a short break. 👍🏻

The hotel staff experience was second to none. The owner was also very personable and introduced himself to my partner and I.
The food was also exemplary and nothing was too much trouble. The food was both fresh and tasty. I can recommend the fish!
The room was clean and the bathroom was also maintained to a high standard. Enjoyed our stay and if we come back to Eastbourne we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place in the heart of Eastbourne but slightly our of main drag so benefits from little less crowded at peak times. Fabulous views from the Seaview rooms. Extremely clean and tidy in all public areas. Have stayed in several different rooms and all modern and decked out to a high standard especially considering the price which is very reasonable for this type of hotel and location. Friendly and helpful staff with great breakfast service. Breakfast is a decent affair with lots of choice or you can have it all! Unhurried and relaxed. On a sunny day you can grab a beer or coffee and sit on the terrace which is in sunlight until mid afternoon and relax watching the world go by. If that sounds good then I recommend you visit. ( can't guarantee the sun though)
