Great that Eastbourne has a pier. Still need s a bit more repair. But much improved.

As a pier is suppose to be a good central pull for a seaside resort we were a little dissappointed.
It was pretty miserable weather when we went so maybe that impacted the experience. The arcades were a bit grubby, now I know that most arcades are but these had quite a few out of order machines and generally quite dirty. The shops seemed quite nice but there were very few and that was pretty much it, nothing else to see or do. I'm not sure what we were expecting to be honest, maybe some interesting info scattered about? Or some models or sculptures of some sort?

The tea rooms looked nice though, although we didn't go in it was very busy so assumed it was decent.

Spacious for walking along, with great views. Free entry, with food, gift shops, a couple of children's rides & some arcade games.

Could be better - sorely misses the blue room which burnt down a few years ago. New owner doing some good work but quality of food and drink in the tea rooms is not great. The pier itself could do with less of his gold decoration too. Having said that, it's great for a walk and some of the other food units are better. Hoping that time will bring more improvements.

The Pier has had lot of improvement. Lovely walk along sea front . Appears to be lots to do at Eastbourne for young and old.

We visited with some relatives. It is a traditional pier that provided some good views of the sea and back to the town. Not a great deal of facilities and atmosphere though

Decorated nicely, but has lost some of it's heritage as fishing has been banned.

Enjoyed our stroll along this pier, great views too. It has more going on than some piers have these day, restaurants, Jazz Bar with great Jazz! Shops etc. Well worth a look.
