Eastbourne pier , I have visitwd this pier for many years , but of late I feel it's looking tierd..I don't like the gold everywhere and to see the nightclub turned into a arcade upset me . The nightclub looks like someone has gone in here hap hazard and just wrecked it to make way for the penny slots and arcade machines . I hope one day tr reruns to an event venue.

Its like going back in time. Old fashioned sweet shop and loved the many penny arcades. you can entertain the little children and big kids like me without spending an arm and a leg.
There is vast areas which could have other uses, there is a nice tearoom which looks inviting.
The views are stunningly good too!!

I live fairly close to the Pier and walk on it quite a lot.<br><br>Unfortunately the fire destroyed one of the largest structures on it, but it has been well restored (albeit in a simple manner). So it's nice for a walk and a view along both directions of the seaside.<br><br>There are a number of eateries and entertainment for kids.<br><br>The fishing from the back of the Pier has been stopped.<br><br>I'm giving only 4 stars because the huge space where one of the main structures used to be seems under utilised and would be nice seeing something happening there from time to time.

This is an improvement on what was here but it stll lacks things to do and see. Plenty of slot machines but very little else.
I thought the Blue Room had to be put back on there as it was listed? Any info on this at all please?

Nice place, relaxed. Beachy head is good for walking and good views across the sea. Pebbly beach though.
