*** Visited this Seaside attraction while on our annual visit to the town . Now adorned with ornate gold fittings courtesy of the Piers owner and saviour. All the usual seaside souveniers are on offer in the little shops on the Pier plus ample seating areas for those tired legs …….. Marvellous attraction & well worth a visit ! ***

Not much to do on the pier. It caters for the elderly, which I guess should be expected in Eastbound. Frank Sinatra blaring out over the loudspeakers, godawful 'Victorian Tea Rooms' with atrocious decor and horrific crockery. A few 2p arcade attractions for the kids. Nice views of the shoreline.

Not a huge amount to do on the pier but it’s a nice relaxing space, well kept and comes with great views of the surrounding coastline and seas and best of - it’s free, so what’s there to complain about.

Sehr schöner Pier. Es gibt auf dem Pier ein schönes Tea House. Irgendwie romantisch.<br>Wenn man nach Eastbourne reist, sollte man den Pier unbedingt besuchen.

It is well worth a visit. I was there during the day there is a bar which is interesting, but the high light for me was the Victorian Tea House, you are served at your table, the staff are really friendly but not overwhelming. The experience is really good. The cost is fair and not over the top. Afternoon Tea a really great experience, but you can just have a cuppa if that's all you want. The tea room gets five stars. Make sure you visit.

Loved our day here. We had an excellent afternoon tea in the Victorian Tea Room, (excellent value at £9.00 for sandwiches, scones jam and cream, cake and pots of tea), then a spectacular gossip, sitting in the middle of the pier, gazing at the twinkling sun dancing on the English Channel. Everyone was obviously enjoying themselves and the fresh air was great. There’s ample seating on this pier and a broad walkway. Delighted the pier has re-opened.

Miss the old pier 💔

Plenty of seating from which to take in the views. But lacks the buzz of an old-fashioned pier. Even the small arcades were uninspiring. Plenty of potential, though.

It was OK like a lot of piers need a lot work on them and this was going on here fresh air was interrupted by fumes from a quad on the pier.
