I recently took my 10 year old grandson.
I think its a lovely place for a very young family. Depending on the child I think 10 year old is the upper limit.

What a fantastic day out!

Our boys are 8 and this was an end of the summer holidays treat! So much to do and all included in the already very reasonable ticket price.
The train ride was magical
We are going again and will be joining as it’s such a great experience

Really enjoyed our time out here. The train rides are just long enough to keep everyone having a great time without it being to boring for little ones.
The lunch is reasonable for the current climate but bring your own as they have enough park benches.
The playgrounds are great and even is a toddler area for younger children.

Didn't go on the nature walk as it was too hot but heard others recommend as there is other playgrounds dotted around the walk with less people.

What a beautiful place this is! Absolutely brilliant for all ages.... And I mean All ages! Its so well maintained and looked after and all the staff are really friendly. Once I move to this area, we will definitely be getting an annual membership!

UPDATE: We went again today and all had a really great day again. My suggestion is start with the walk around the lake including the maze, then do the other fun bits as it's always harder to drag the kids round the walk once they hit the park.

A great time to be had with grandchildren. The train rides are the main attraction but there are excellent play areas and a good walk around the whole lake (with another playparks half way round.) There is a mini golf course and cafes. A nice family run attraction.

I used to visit as a child very regularly 25 years ago, and now I have my own child I have been excited to return for a while.

I finally visited yesterday, and wow, what a place it still is! The site itself is so well maintained - clean, tidy, and beautiful. I didn’t appreciate the landscaping and greenery as a child! On the train side, the ride is still a delight and the whole experience as a parent was excellent. Can’t wait to be back regularly! We’re very lucky to have something like this in Eastbourne.

Lovely place for little ones and grown-ups alike. Though a tad expensive for children's entry

Brilliant day out perfect for families especially those with small children. The miniature steam railway is amazing and a lovely ride around the whole park. Just be careful if you have a young one in front as the train horn and smoke can be hard for little ones so you might want to sit further back.
Plenty of playgrounds, crazy golf, maze, lake and seating dotted around for ease. Nice snack shops and cafe along with gift shop that sells trains, toys and memorabilia.
Really easy, booking in advance saves 50p a ticket.
Highly recommend!

My two-year old loves it here. The annual membership is excellent value for money. They have recently added the crazy golf which is included in the entry price. There is easily plenty to do for a couple of hours.
