Fantastic, great entertainment and good value. The tribute band do other acts and would really like to see them all and would if we lived closer!

We sat here to watch Airbourne one day, and it was worth the £12 we paid. Would recommend sitting at the front!

We booked our Bandstand tickets for the Thursday display of Airbourne as we were informed everywhere gets packed and to ensure good viewing we should book. The 2 adult and 2 children seats cost £40 and although the viewing was very good (except for the row in front blocked viewing for our two sons) I don't think we would pay again. The atmosphere on the beach and by the Wish Tower was much better, as we found this out on the Friday when we watched it again. The seating is a good idea on the Bandstand if you want to come and go and to guarantee your seat, however £40 for a family of four then it is very expensive. If it is atmosphere you want then buy a deck chair and sit on the beach as that it was we are going to do next year. If you are booking the Bandstand for a concert then £40 for a family of four is money well spent as the Bandstand itself is beautiful and the seats fairly comfortable.

Well organised entry, seating arrangements, refreshments purchase available, been to a number of the tributes, live bands & over Christmas for a small donation they've a luvly family music show with a truly heart warming feeling & they've a mulled wine & mince pie stall, it's a vintage maintained area of the beach front which incorporates modern music as well, gets a good turn out to MOST/all of the shows

Good venue but, better infrastructure is required...toilets are not inside so you have to sneak out and show your ticket...you are refused if you don't remember it....bar ran out of certain items quite early and the queue snaked in front of the audience....food would be nice too as people brought in various offerings (money maker there Eastbourne Bandstand). The band on Saturday the 16th of August were poor sadly.... Set list was not good enough....the 80s were a goldmine of hits,,, Michael Jackson, Spandau Ballet ... Lionel Richie...Wham??? all missing.... Buster Bloodvessel???? he was awful in the 80s and still is....group were competent especially Dom Littlewood from rip off britain who was great as Elton John and Mick Hucknell... Odd female (??) lead singer .... Sidney Lauper, Andy Lennox, Gary Estefan and Mandonna...were all frightening!!!

I have to say a huge congratulations to Eastbourne Council & all other authorities & organisations for another excellent 'Airbourne' weekend. I am a local who enjoys this weekend every year, there are a few locals who resist in the local paper each year. Generally in my opinion because they live right near the seafront and don't like the noise, people and general business of it all. But on the plus side, it brings in huge revenue to the local shops & businesses and puts Eastbourne on the map every year. Great Air displays from Red Arrows, Lancaster Bombers, Helicopters, Wing Walkers, and all the armed forces, to which I'm a great believer in supporting our troops. Personally I'd rather not see wars but I also hugely appreciate the brave Men & Women that fight for our freedom. Great atmosphere, food, drink, music, air displays, as well as all sorts of other activities.
A massive well done to the organisers and all participants.
Thank You, A+++

We had been looking forward to hearing the 1812 and seeing its accompanying fireworks, and it really wasn't their fault that the rain was teeming down, but maybe more than half the seats should be under cover. The music wasn't played well and the fireworks very weak.

We were fortunate enough to be staying in Eastbourne during the annual Air Show which this year was August 13 - 16. It was fantastic especially the two Lancasters flying in formation over the bay. The RAF Tempest was awesome.

We had a superb viewpoint from our room on the fourth floor of the Queens Hotel!

Looked fun to sit and take in a concert on a nice evening, wished had been better advertised before we walked past next day and realised we'd missed something we would have enjoyed.

Review just on the bandstand itself. After a long period of work it has been well restored to its former glory. Gives me great optimism about the pier.

Went with my family to Bandstand for a friday night ABBA tribute. Despite the threat of rain it was a great event and fantastic family atmosphere. Friday nights are tribute nights and a brillant unique event for our town. Tickets in advance, even on the day, save you a few bob.

The concert was fantastic, make sure you get your tickets in advance for £7.50 instead of £9.00 on the door

Central location, easy to reserve seats, the windows were a distraction and dirty, should be cleaned or covered with opaque material to prevent passers by looking in.

The band during our stay was the Central Band of the Royal British Legion. They were quite simply - terrific! We went to listen to them on three afternoons and one evening and they played great selections on each occasion. Their 1812 concert with fireworks was a real treat.

Stayed in hotel directly across from the band stand with a seaview room and enjoyed a tribute band show, despite the rain.

Brass band was well performed especially my favourite music of Les Mis. It's was a bit cold due to the gusting wind. Finished with lovely firework.

Magnificent and stunning place to relax and enjoy the seaside while listening to the band and sipping a cup of tea. The afternoon concert is a "must" to watch... my favorite time of the day in Eastbourne after riding on a Dotto train.

This historic band stand is apleasure to see and visit but a bit pricey for families to watch an actual show

We went to a big band / swing concert which we enjoyed very much.
There is something different every night and tickets seem to be always £7.50. Cheaper if you book before 6pm.
I think it represents very good value.

After walking along the promenade on our first afternoon, we came across the Bandstand and were amazed how much it is used. Every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the season, a different tribute act is on in the evening, plus normal bands on at other times. We decided to go as it was "The BeeGees". It was only £7 and they performed for over 2 hours. There is also a bar inside and the whole evening had a lovely atmosphere as it was packed with people. So nice to see an old Bandstand being used so much.

An excellent venue providing class entertainment most nights. I was surprised at the variety of the entertainment they put on. A lovely location.
