Lovely place to visit with an 8 year old. Make sure you have one of their animal spotter booklets uto keep children occupied. It is quite expensive so make sure you spend all day there.

We went for the Bluey kids event specifically. Not going to lie - it wasn't what it was cracked up to be.
We didn't get to meet Bluey or Bingo, we tried throughout the day but there was an hour queue all day.
There was nothing Bluey themed (apart from the meet and greet) for the children that didn't get the chance to meet Bluey or Bingo.
If I'm honest it felt like there wasn't enough staff on as it could have been a little more organised and kept cleaner, although the staff that were on were very professional and polite.
We've been to Drusilla's before on a day when there wasn't quite such a big event, so know the place as great from past experience so still giving it 4 stars as I'm sure it'll be great next time we go (Bluey is a big deal in the under 9's scene so it's big business)

Fantastic day out on a Thursday in school holidays. Zoo very educational and nice animal enclosures. Fantastic play areas and nice to have rides that were free not buy additional tokens.
Take swimsuits and towels as kids will love Get Well!

Mmm, not been here for many years. Recently brought my 6 year old granddaughter for the day. Honestly? I thought £68 for two of us was expensive. It has had money spent on it, no doubt, and it is well looked after and the animals all look well cared for etc, it's always very busy so does it need to be so expensive for what in truth, is a reasonably small zoo and play area.
That said, the new sensory room, an extra cost, is well worth it, very well done and young children will love it. The play areas are good and there is a splash area too if you remember the kids swimmers!
Bring a picnic, I thought the food was expensive but I expected that in fairness. You can pay extra for additional rides and face painting, although only one 'artist' working, so a big queue when I was there and as it was hot, didn't want to be queuing for ages.
Overall, if you've never been, it's worth a visit, particularly if your kids are under 10. I spent around £100. Would you go again? I'm not sure.

Absolutely brilliant, recommend for kids under 10. Food is over priced and pretty dire (surprised to not find any healthy options) but picnic area is brilliant, lots of shade! If you keep going past the picnic area there's a cafe with decent coffee and sandwiches (over priced but better than burger and chips!). Absolutely loved Drusilla's, will certainly return!

Having not visited for about 15 years we are very impressed by new additions and the amount of interesting activities. Shocked by having to queue from Polegate to get in!!! - didn't realise it was a special day but ....... 🤷. Also disappointed to find no water stations for water bottle refills, not enough places to rest along the way and few shaded areas around the play areas - I don't know how families have managed in recent very hot times. We have enjoyed our day very much but a pity to hear children crying and moaning and grumpy adults during the day due to needing a sit down in the shade or a drink of water.

Horrendous queues blocked the A27, chaos in the car parks. Animals were great, play area very crowded with nowhere in the shade to sit. There is no drinking water available - presumably to maximise drink sales at £1.85 a can.

Great Family day out but very expensive entry. Recommended using tesco club card points towards entry otherwise just too expensive.

Love this place. Used to come when I was a kid and now get to take my own children. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I love the new additions and there’s always something new and interesting to see. The animals look well cared for too.

Fantastic day out with our toddler and older teen. Animals were well cared for but I have taken away a star as over 2's pay as an adult.

Was an expensive day once food, drinks etc was added in, and though you can pre book for a discounted rate and take a packed lunch it was a last minute decision to go and for 4 adults, a burger and selection of drinks we didn't see much change from £250

I will reiterate though that we enjoyed ourselves even if our bank account didn't

Top day out. The zoo is nice the rides too. Restaurants are a bit to much overpriced. And the car park is to small when you come right after 10am. And 8 seater you will struggle to park as it 5.5m long and will stick out far. There should be allocated bays for family vans.

Our son (6) loved Drusillas, despite not particularly being interested in animals. He's autistic and loved the countries and capitals quiz near the red panda enclosure, the adventure playground, splash pad, Maze and the tamer rides. We spent 4 or 5 hours there and the food on offer was lovely. A few optional things we paid for but cost was reasonable. Good range of shops and seating, lots to do and see, mini train was good too.

We brought tickets via Kidspass otherwise it would of been very expensive for one child age 4 and 1 adult. But it was a great day put and managed to go on all the rides twice without too much queueing

Due to my car breaking down whilst en route yesterday we were unable to visit.
Under terms and conditions tickets are not refundable or transferable.
However they have kindly allowed me to change this to two weeks time so my kids won’t miss out.
Very happy with this as I am aware and experienced from elsewhere that they choose to not be flexible when these things happen.
We are very much looking forward to our visit in two weeks

My 2 year old loved the park and filled the whole day with different things to do. Although a little pricey and children's tickets are as expensive as adults
