Very well kept and all the animals seem to live in good, clean conditions. Children's play areas are large and varied with some fairground-type rides which my children loved. Overall, a good day out however, it's very expensive for a day trip.

We booked this for our daughters 8th Birthday and she had the best day ever according to her. She is likely to remember this forever as she got up close and personal with several of the animals as well as helping prepare food although she drew the line at cleaning up the poo. Her zookeeper was Charlie and he really took an obvious delight in the educational side of events and was a fount if knowledge about the animals that she was seeing. He made the day perfect for her so a big thanks to him.

She would like to do it again next year so that is high praise indeed. If you consider how much a kids party costs these days and the innumerable pieces of regifted plastic rubbish they receive from their contemporaries I’d rather spend the equivalent (or less!) in a whole days experience here instead as a family.

We visited for my nephews 2nd birthday and we all had such a blast. Lots of animals with large enough windows that toddlers can see in without being picked up. The play area is AMAZING - truly jealous I am not a child! Our boys particularly enjoyed cooling off in the splash zone. The rides are also brilliant and suitable for both young and older children. I will definitely be returning as it was a splendid day and well worth the money.

Fantastic fun for you guys families. The mix of animals, rides and playgrounds keeps kids occupied and wards off boredom for parents. Try and find out when anim<br>feeding times are and beware high restaurant prices

I visit Drusillas quite often as it is very local to me. Quietest times are when it opens, parking is ample and facilities are very good.
You can stay at the park for a good half a day with little ones. The zoo itself is very nice with a lot of animals to see. At the end of the zoo is a fantastic play area with rides, slides, swings, soft play, a water area... the list could go on!
It is expensive to get in, but that shouldn't put you off. If you want a nice family day out then you should definitely consider here.

My 11 year old had a brilliant time making red panda cake and then feeding it to them! The zoo keeper was very friendly and informative and we were able to get really close to the red pandas . An unforgettable experience!

Took my family there on a day trip. Fantastic Zoo, lots of informative challenges so the kids definitely learn whilst they’re having fun.

Luckily the weather was fantastic so we enjoyed the wet play and all the rides. We particularly enjoyed the interactive maze, something you don’t see at many attractions these days.

My only criticism is it’s a little pricey.

I haven't been to Drusillas for about 10 years due to youngest child being to old for it and grandchild not old enough.
Went today with 21 month old granddaughter, we had the best day, there for four hours by which time she was tired, but so much more to do.
The zoo was clean, animals all looked in very good condition, interesting enclosures, friendly staff, train was great, food good, great day thank you

I had a fantastic day with my daughter and our friends. There was so much fun activities my daughter engaged with, the animals was fantastic due to the wide range and lastly the service was quick, prompt and pleasant. All members of staff was extremely helpful and willing to offer assistance. I wish I had spent longer with my daughter as we’ve could have done soooo much more. I plan to return soon on a hot summers day and bring my daughter’s swimwear so she can play in the water area (looked amazing). In all honesty, I would of happily part with more of my money for this experience, I think they should charge more for the service they provide... by hey ho, cheap cheerful family day out.

Really love a visit to Drusillas. It has loads to do: almost too much to properly enjoy in just one day! We enjoyed the Rides in Hello Kitty World, the animals, the play equipment and the splash park. The play areas is pretty huge and it's quite hard to keep tabs on your little ones! Our hot tip is tip is to go to Hello Kitty world first and the animals at the end of the day: the animals area was rammed in the morning but we had ti to ourselves at the end of the day.

We recently took our young neice on a trip to Drusilas. We had an absolutely fantastic day. We started in the zoo and she loved going round with the spotter booker, stamping it when she had found the animal in it. All the animals looked really well cared for in clean and tidy enclosures. The keepers that we saw couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and telling her about the animal they look after. After the zoo we spent a long time in the play park, which caters for for Children of all ages. The water park area was great fun! After the playpark we went The Train ride was fun and then onto one of her favourite parts - Hello Kitty world!
A fun day out for all the family and in my opinion great value for money.

Rather pricey and the queue to get in was over 30 minutes. Many people seemed to be booked through their mobile but this seemed to take longer than us with our credit card. Why are they so fussy about disabled people proving they are on benefits to get a free carer entry. My mother was very elderly but not on benefits. Would she have qualified? This process took ages for people ahead of us. they could have opened another kiosk.
Otherwise great day out. The information for older children was good and animals looked well cared for - the were mainly smaller animals. Children's play area and maze - good.
Food - jacket potato OK children's box - white bread sandwich. Present not suitable for a young child,
Shockingly lots of plastic cutlery, polystyrene containers, straws - very unenvironmentally friendly.-

We visited in May 2018 and had a really fabulous family day out. The zoo has some interesting animals and is beautifully kept. There are plenty of things to do for the children and kept everyone occupied. We took a picnic so can’t comment on the cafe but the picnic area was good with lots of tables and chairs.

Expensive on the door, but by the end of the day it definitely seemed worth it. Family enjoyed, but I can't imagine paying door price for a larger family. Def take your own food as this will balance out the days costs. Use the animal spotting books and ink stamps to encourage children to see all. Small water sprsy area is great - remember to take a towel if needed.
