All went well really. Certainly from DB Domestics point of view. My old machine got ruined by a blanket disintegrating inside. This also caused a blockage in the drain. It would have been useful if DB Domestics could have provided or recommended a service to deal with this. In the event, I had to find somebody to deal with the blockage before I could use the machine and it added around £95 to the bill.
The new machine is good. I've read good reviews. I bought it over the phone, so I was taking a chance with DB Domestics. All seemed fine, as far as I can see so far and the bits I've used are working well.

We contacted DB Electrics repair service as our oven kept tripping our fuse box. Initially it was thought that the element needed replacing but this turned out not to be the case. However on a return visit, Neil did a thorough investigation of the problem and his perseverance to get the fault solved was admirable. The oven is now back working. It’s great to have a store like DB that not only sells appliances but comes out and repairs them when needed.

Having an issue with a misaligned overhead cupboard meant the cooker I had chosen would not be suitable, the fitters arranged for the original cooker to be removed & my 2nd choice was delivered later the same day.

I telephoned the store and a very helpful gentleman ( sorry I can’t remember his name) knew exactly what I required. I wished to buy a fridge freezer for my daughter, gave him the measurements ( which he helped me with) and told him my price range. Less than 48 hours later the appliance was delivered and fitted ( was integrated) and the old broken one was taken away. Sadly the appliance had a slight fault. I called the store, within two days a replacement fridge freezer was delivered and fitted. I cannot thank the staff here enough, they really do care about their customers, offering a personal service. Also on the day of delivery I was given an almost exact time of delivery which was stuck to. Great service, always come here for any electrical goods I need.

Once again, excellent service. The item I wanted was not in your regular stock. But the salesman whom I spoke to on the phone was polite and extremely helpful helping me identify it and place the order. At no time did I feel in any way pressured to order. I was concerned that the fridge I wanted was too large for the space (based on the measurements it should have been). He dealt with my concerns very well. He was confident it would fit. He was right of course. But he assured me that in the event that it didn’t you would be able to resolved it. Replacing with a different item if necessary.
The order arrived very promptly and I was easily able to make arrangements for delivery and installation. The two guys who came were fantastic. Courteous at all times and respectful of my property, they efficiently installed my new fridge and removed the old one.
As ever I was delighted with every aspect of their device. I would always choose to buy electrical goods from them in preference to the other national stores, who could not possibly offer a service approaching that which they offer .

We had problems with our washing machine so phoned DB domestics and they sent someone round very quickly. He was very informative and advised us that, as it was very old and needed a lot of help, the most practical and financially sensible solution would be to buy a new one. Darren in the showroom was very helpful and we were able to choose a new one very quickly (I find kitchen appliances confusing and boring!). The new machine was delivered and fitted the following morning and the old one removed. Very happy with the new one. We always go to DB Domestics as they are a local family-run business and we trust them.
