This pub I can imagine is great for some (football supporters)however if your after a peaceful pub lunch this is not the place, prices are reasonable we were in a small group and the food looked presentable and tasted ok although the three of us that had fish also had a long time on the toilet! The service was slow but the servers polite and helpful would not return.

Brilliant pub. Came here for a meal on a Friday evening, it was busy but a great atmosphere.<br>Love to see a pub where they have more then enough staff to suit everybody's needs.<br>The staff were amazing.<br>Food was banging.<br>Will definitely return.<br>Whoever runs this place has got it spot on.<br>Well done you.

Der Pub bietet ein hervorragendes Buffet an. Alles sehr lecker. Die Spareribs<br>sind ausgezeichnet. Der Service ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ambiente und Atmosphäre fantastisch.

Met up with some other Chesham United fans for the 1st away trip of the season. Decent atmosphere, great presentation with the food, great laughs and drank plenty that day. Just need to learn to stop collecting glasses from our tables 🤣🤣🤣, when i'm out. Once a bartender always a bartender 🤣🤣🤣

Staff seem quite lazy, like they don't want to be there. Assume chef has changed in the last year or two as food not as good as it used to be. My wife witnessed a member of staff using a broom to sweep the coffee station counter down and then use the same broom on the floor. I didn't use the toilets but my wife said the ladies were dirty and no toilet roll in one of the cubicles, which tells me they're not attended regularly.

Popped in for a bite to eat and a drink. Had the bangers and mash which was delicious and a pint of Guinness which went down a treat. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Overall a first class pub

Well... we did had food just because were hungry. Otgerwise not worth visiting.<br>Lack of clean tables, horrible toilets,service not great...garlich mushrom was not possible to eat,loads vinegar/acid.<br>And pricey!

We went here last night staff friendly nice atmosphere food fantastic. I had the special steak and kidney ale pie omg lovely bits of steak pastry amazing. My husband had vegan option nut roast again all hot and can't fault our meals highly recommend 😄😄👏👏

Visited on a Friday when they had live music during our weekend stay. A decent all round pub. Friendly smiling staff who were eager to serve you unlike some pub staff. Great food - decent portions and good value. Everything was well presented. Overall a great pub. Can be busy at times so best to book a table if you plan to eat. Five minute walk from our hotel - saved going into the town centre.
