Odd shaped establishment, seems to be in the shape of an arc. Usual tap beers and a few real ales available. Wooden floors throughout and descent tables and chairs. Staff were friendly and polite. Beer was reasonable. Nice local pub. Enjoyed my visit.

We have our lunch here when staying over. Steak pie was great, lasagne was a little dry. But the portions and presentation are brilliant. We then come back for last orders and catch the bands on which are pretty good. Service is great and quick and the place has a great feeling.

Drinks were good, food was overpriced, staff were attentive. And what we had for food was nice...........but after all it was a Green king pub and they will charge you what they like............. cos they are Green king 😔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I rarely review anywhere but the excellent vegan menu alongside more traditional pub fare has prompted me in this case.
Not only is there an imaginative menu the food is cooked and presented very well.
Even better they have cask beers and are dog friendly.

Went for lunch and had the roast. It was lovely and nicely priced. The staff were polite and very helpful. The pub had a good atmosphere and the facilities were well kept. Would recommend as a nice place to pop in for a good meal and some drinks.

Always have trouble eating out as I'm gluten-free and dairy-fre e. But had a good choice of food to choose from. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable which helped. We're definitely recommend it to people similar as me.and we'll be going back again
