This vibrant and popular traditional pub is one of Eastbourne's most iconic venues for dining, live entertainment, and sports entertainment. Without question, the food us excellent and varied. Whether you're a seeker of traditional fayre, ranging from roast dinners to delectable dishes, such as the Crown's ribs, or a committed vegan, the Crown's menu is varied enough to appeal to all tastes. And little people are certainly not forgotten. There's a creative menu for all age ranges.
There's even a detailed spirits menu reflective of the professional team at the Crown. Located on Eastbourne's iconic seafront the Crown and Anchor is a must-visit location. Keep in mind that on certain sports nights the Crown can be quite lively, but always in good fun. There's never a problem with guests behaving. Without doubt, the professional staff are well respected and the message is clear and upheld by staff and guests alike - scallywags and ne'er-do-wells are not welcome!

Bank holiday Monday lunchtime, six of us, we hadn’t booked. Nevertheless we were welcomed warmly and given a choice of tables. Drinks order taken promptly and drinks delivered, food took a little while but it was worth waiting for - everyone was pleased with what they had. We would definitely return.

Incredible food for the money! The burger is massive (maybe 8oz) and only £11?! I had the steak pie and it was full crust pastry - no half dish bollo**s -, and for once a restaurant that doesn't scrimp on the veg / gravy accompaniment... There were lashings of both. Plus our waiter was so helpful and quick... on a Saturday! Couldn't have asked for more!

Wonderful warm welcome by friendly, helpful staff. Large selection of drinks Had a meal for six, including two children. Despite being busy, service was quick and food arrived quickly and was delicious. Kids meals were well presented. Really tasty puddings and kids ice-creams were huge. Lamb shank very tasty and would highly recommend.

This is the second time we have been here . The first time was last year after we had been to see Rob Beckett at The Congress Theatre. We had a fantastic night . The bar staff were amazing. There was a live band on who were excellent.
This time we have come back to Eastbourne for our 1st wedding anniversary. We had dinner and decided to stay . The band were excellent food was amazing and the staff absolutely exceptional.

Great pub to visit on a Saturday evening with friends, staff were excellent. Enjoyed the Abba tribute act, if in Eastbourne again would visit again probably to try the restaurant.

We recently had our second visit to this great pub+restaurant and we were welcomed by the owner and staff who did everything to accommodate our request for seats and table can't get enough of the place food again was outstanding and the staff being so helpful and friendly it's a must to visit needless to say we will be back very soon what a great way to finish off our weekend 19/03/23 Thanks to everyone Noel+Ad0🙌🙌🙌

We’re down here for 2 days and purely accidentally it was Paddy’s day on our 1st evening . Wouldn’t normally be bothered about that but as this venue was close to our hotel we booked a table for the evening. We had a great night in here being entertained by Zen Relics but didn’t eat in here. However we saw others eating and it all looked good. So tonight (our 2nd)) we’ve booked a table again for the Abba tribute but will be eating our main meal in here 👍🏻
