Very good for the price.
Breakfast excellent,evening meal reasonable choice
Purchase wine at the table in the evening then brought to the table would have been better than fetching it yourself from the bar

Friendly service and a lovely sea view from our room which was very clean with lovely bed linen and towels. I think it would be fair to say that the hotel is in need of an update - however at the price we paid it was fine and we would return.

Excellent location in a traditional seaside hotel.
The location is excellent. The room was large with sea view. The bathroom also large. The twin beds however were quite small in width.
The room has clearly been redecorated but there were drops of paint and it wasn't particularly clean. The bath could do with a handrail.

Wasn’t expecting much after seeing reviews but we were pleasantly surprised.
Yes the hotel is a bit rough in corridors and stairs and from what we heard some of the rooms.
We found the other main areas very pleasant.
First of all a big thank you to every member of staff, the staff are all brilliant and I mean all.
Absolutely felt at home and welcomed here.
The food we found to be lovely and enjoyed everything we ate.
The room again was absolutely fine ,

The hotel is not the most modern but it’s super friendly, the breakfast is fantastic and Liam , Abbie etc and fantastic staff members

I have stayed many times before and like location and car park around back , only stayed in cheaper rooms
Stayed many time out of all two rooms were abit run down but when looking for cheap rooms doesn’t matter much as only one night and not in room much as we were out

We had an enjoyable stay at your hotel.
Breakfast was tasty each day & staff were very helpful in bringing it to our table. Beds were very comfortable & gave us a good night’s sleep.
Unfortunately our shower tray & sink were grubby & needed a good clean. This let the side down.

Having had several stays at your hotel we did not enjoy it as much as on previous occasions.
Sea view room we originally booked was awful, smelt of dog and stains on carpet.Requested new room and kindly upgraded.
In superior room was ok .standard room not good.

Toilet seat had poo marks under toilet seat.Although new bags had been put in bins the actual bins were filthy.

I only stayed one night check in was easy my room was fine very basic but I slept well my only issue was with water pressure in shower and no hot water I left the shower on for around 5 min still no hot water tried the taps in all directions nothing it was quite cold over that weekend.

It looked like the hotel had a lot of history . It reminded me of the hotel interior of the shining lol . It has a lot of character and charm
It needs money invested in it from outside to interior . The outside looks derelict the inside is better but needs a lot of attention .

The hotel is now becoming tired. I was on the fourth floor and water pressure was quite low to have a shower but on the Hall hotel was okay the staff were very good.

Fantastic stay.
Staff were very polite and accommodating. Room was very clean and spacious. Food was exceptional. Close to all amenities.
Car park was difficult to get to due to road works. Obviously this was not the fault of the hotel and they couldn't do anything about it.

The hubby and I were only planning to be in the area for the day but decided to stay overnight last minute and this hotel is on the front and has a private parking area which only cost an additional £6.
The hotel has a 3* rating, which is fine.
Sadly the room was grubby and falling apart.
There was still rubbish in the bin from the previous occupants.
The furniture had seen better days and all needed replacing.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
