Staff were good but room was dated and water flow for the bath/shower was so slow!!

Thought we'd booked a superior sea view room as per your photo but we had the back view with wrought iron stairs to look at. The room was ok and huge bed but asked to move as wanted sea view, which they kindly did. Staff very good. Bar prices very good. Hotel great location. 2 bars. There was a singer too.

Excellent and staff were very friendly too Fantastic position right on the sea front. Really lovely and warm and spacious room. Immediate hot water in the shower. Kettle with tea and coffee. Allows dogs which is amazing for us!!! Parking we had to pay for in the NCO but it’s Eastbourne on the sea front so you can’t expect huge amounts of parking. The NCP was only a short walk though.

Rather dated room but good value for money. Great location for beach & shops. Comfortable bed. Good value. Very dated room. Noisy pipework during the night.

End rooms are currently subject to roadwork noise Monday to Friday. Great location.

Don’t believe all the negativity on here about the Burlington. Yes, it’s old. Yes, it needs extensive refurbishment. But our room - a superior sea view twin - was spacious, well equipped and clean. The breakfast at £10 was excellent value. Overall, a good option and 4/5 stars.

Love this hotel always friendly and on site parking :)
Just one issue is the surrounding demolition work and building works

The staff were very accommodating, They let our children put on music and dance on the dance floor. In the morning the breakfast staff moved tables so we could all sit together

When we first visited room all looked fine and had a wonderful view of the sea front. First night stay the radiator kept making a dripping noise and loud banking noise. No sleep. Went down to reception at three in the morning to see if I could get help. Nothing can be done till 7.15. Reception staff said she would get maintenance guy to come and look. That took till Saturday afternoon. When got back to room the radiator was on full heat making room very uncomfortable but noise had stopped. But couldn’t turn heating down. Several visits to reception we final got moved to another room on night 2 thanks to a member of staff that cared about our stay. Breakfast was good but small plates so you couldn’t get a lot on the plate. Evening menu wasn’t great not a lot of choose and no Chardonnay or decent beer at the bar.

I will be returning this month! Everything I am so sad to see that Eastbourne's jewel, the carpet gardens, have now been replaced with straggly bushes.

Our car broke down on our way to the hotel, arriving at 2am the staff were INCREDIBLE, they helped us with everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure we were OK.
We will never forget the kindness and will always return to The Burlington as long as they have this wonderful staff team

We have just returned from a 5 day trip to the Burlington Eastbourne
20 oct-25 and we had a fantastic time the Hotel staff were polite, friendly and very helpful when we arrived we were not happy with the room we had been allocated we were upgraded to another room 309 without any fuss or trouble and nothing was too much trouble for the staff
The food and service was faultless
This was our second visit it 3 months and will be going again.
If I was to be picky I will say the room wasn't very clean particularly the windows but no bother.
Thank you Burlington
