Only 1 thing was they didn't have much availability on the bar menu

Good hotel for the money, friendly staff, 1950s style lifts still.
Good location, friendly staff, nice food, excellent value for money, comfy bed, decent shower.
Mould on the shower seals, loose toilet roll holder.
Dead fly squashed on the wall.

The location and staff
It is an old building and the windows had quite a gap, letting in a cold draft, but we blocked them up and it was fine.

You get what you pay for.
Hotel is quite dated and has seen better days. But to be honest it was very cheap so you get what you pay for. The location was great. Room fairly clean. But carpets are worn, and furniture is very rickety
I asked for a filter coffee and was told that it would cost too much to make it a full pot. Although he could make an individual one..i was given filter coffee in a cup - not in a cafatier!
