Overnite stay in eastborne
The location on the seafront.. friendly helpful staff.
Waiting for the only lift for such a big hotel.. it was in constant use and at times we waited 2 to 3 times. No aircon in our room and the window wouldnt lock secure.. the tv didnt work.

Lovely old building ! Been many times as good location for buses, train, town etc. If you want fancy and modern its not for you. Needs major restoration etc but Hey Ho we will be back.

Great location happy staff
We did have a problem whilst there, The hotel manager dealt with everything. This is a very old building and is in need of a refurb. The Manager is doing his best and as a plus it has to be said the staff all are happy and welcoming. Breakfast was good. They have entertainment at the hotel we did not go to but other guest told us it was good.
Its an old building and the manager is trying hard to do everything that is needed to restore back to original condition.

Charge £6 for parking. I suggest either don't charge for parking or include the charge in the room fee, as there are plenty of spaces for customers.

The bed was so small. Small double in this day and age is not acceptable for a couple. The tv was postage stamp size. Ok for 1 night but would not stay longer without a bigger bed. Also the dining room was so hot that even the staff were melting.

Very small bed think it was a small double not big enough for 2 fully grown adults. The room cld accommodate bigger.
Also it was way too hot in the room and cld only open the widow a little. It's better than too cold but a happy medium would be nice.

I was taking advantage of a cheap offering, so didn't expect anything beyond average. Room was fine, bed comfortable, the en-suite was very good and clean. My main observation is the floorboards, which are loose and creaky in the space between the door, bed and desk. I'd hate to be in the room underneath, I was very conscious of the noise it must be making.

Initially we were shown a poor room which was cold and had a single bed which we had not booked. The hotel were quick to realise their mistake when I returned to reception and the room we were given was large, warm and very comfortable
