Location
Room service
Comfortable beds
Hair on the carpet and under the bath mat, no ironing board for the iron, it was either way too hot or cold in the room. The heating could be only switched off completely, no regulation.
However it was cold in the morning even with the heating on.

Great location. Friendly staff. Dog friendly.
Car park to rear. Tea and coffee making facilities in room along with hairdryer and iron. Tv. Breakfast was good. Bar and reception are nice. Excellent value for money.
Bit shabby. Deep clean needed in room. Noisy floorboards. Bed a little hard and only 1 pillow provided. Probably could have asked for another but didn't seem worth it for one night.

A room for two for not much more than we pay to pitch a tent these days!
Great location by pier and near town. Lots of eateries nearby. Easy to find.
The car park is behind and £6 a night lasting until 3pm on day of checkout.
We took our dog and she was allowed in all areas. There's a designated corner in the dining room.
The room was nice. Better than expected after reading some of the reviews on here. We had tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and board
There was hand wash and shower gel ..both provided from dispensers. Shower nice and warm. Room very warm. A bit too warm at times but it was about 2° outside.
There was some noise from floorboards.
Decor seen better days in places.
Nice bar
Very friendly and helpful staff
Overall a great stay and much more comfortable than the tent 😁

In need of updates. Location, was good. Parking at an extra cost, when travelling by car was a necessary requirement. Breakfast was ok, had much better at another hotel in Eastbourne. Had to change rooms as TV / radio did not work as aerial plug had been destroyed in wall making no connection. Upgraded to much better room at no cost. New room had a key that fitted another; accidentally discovered late one night. Was very hot in room. No catch on doors to prevent outside entry to room at night by unwelcome guests, was told had been removed due to fire safety concerns.
Areas of dining room not allowed sitting. Needs updating & refurbishment, as windows drafts & not fitting well, could also do with cleaning.

We loved the location. The room was basic, but clean, neat and toasy warm. The bathroom was great, it had both a lovely big bath and nicely pressured shower. Staff were warm, friendly, and helpful.

Just returned after spending six nights at the Burlington hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Internet works in your room, electric heater in your room that enables you to keep your room nice and warm. Room cleaned every day and the hotel puts on really good entertainment three nights a week. The hotel though is run down and obviously needs some serious work to get it to a reasonable standard inside though this did not stop us enjoying our stay there

Very convenient and close to the beach with easy access to the town centre. Water is lukewarm and the floor creeks which can be annoying and loud that you can hear outside.

Reasonably priced for the location. Will stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.

Good, clean, affordable and very friendy staff. Breakfast was great, plenty to choose from. Staff very friendly, the restuarant staff were 5 star. I felt very well looked after. The room was out dated, bathroom was very old. BUT i think i just got a room that wasn't refurbished, as i did have 2 rooms in total, the other was refurbished and looked very nice. The rooms are well cleaned, the cleaners do a great job. if you are disbaled the lift is very small. Hard to get wheel chair and one other person in the lift. Good parking for £6 which was good. The Bed i had wasn't great, but the bedding was nice new and comfortable. Room needed a new matress. Bathroom very old needed refurbing.

The beds were so comfortable, the view was great and although the weather was freezing, the hotel was lovely and warm. Note to the manager - pick up the litter from the front, don't want to see it when enjoying the view at breakfast.

A magnificent seaside disaster. I can't recommend it enough. The Burlington’s faded grandeur is an inspiration. Much of the hotel (including the room that I recently stayed it) doesn't appear to have been renovated since the 1980s. Some of the windows don’t open properly, plugs don’t always fit in the baths. Everything about the place suggests that you arrived 20 years too late, but it’s still one of the best places to stay in Eastbourne considering the brilliant location and the low prices. No buffet breakfast out of season. Breakfast also doesn’t start until 07.30. Getting away early with a full stomach is regrettably impossible.

Overall good hotel with good location I didn't like their lift. It was scary when it was stuck in between 1st and the 2nd floor when I was in it. The receptionist didn't tell me that parking is at the back of the hotel. I parked my car at the front of the hotel and I got the parking ticket. I believe the communication with the customer needs to be improved.

We have stayed there quite a few times now. Basic but central and very good value for money. All was good for the price of the stay.

Good Most things easy access to room with lift ,and spacious alleyways also close to the sea which was a benefit.this was an unplanned stay for me as motorhome was in the garage for repairs but enjoyed the 3 days here Only had a breakfast once during stay, fruit was ok and cereal, but had a limited choice for a full fry up if you wanted to eat one maybe this was because of winter season?
