Nice, but Noisy The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The reception and bar staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There is also a car park at the back of the hotel. This costs £6 for 24 hours - First come basis We had Room 116. It was a Superior Double room with sea view. It was a lovely room with a view of the sea and the Pier. The only problem was the room is right above the bar/restaurant next door who had a disco until 1am. It was SO Loud! We didn't get to sleep until around 1.30am after all the revellers had gone. It ruined our stay. So, if you're looking for a romantic getaway, make sure you get a room at the other end away of the hotel.
Breakfast was really nice, although the waiting staff were grumpy and argued in front of guests. Perhaps they didn't get much sleep either 🤷

We enjoyed our stay and as a group we would consider going back We ate dinner and breakfast, both were hot and appealing. Most of our parties rooms had sea views We stayed on an evening when they had entertainment,a singer who was very good. Some rooms had trouble with the heating and one rooms bathroom had an awkward layout

Great budget hotel For a budget hotel - £36.00 - it was very good. Lots of things you could criticise but many things were good.
Overall for a budget hotel it would be hard to beat.
It was a little rough around the edges

Breakfast was fantastic. Hot, varied choice and plentiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Beautiful views of the pier. Lovely Christmas decorations. New bath/shower which was hot and good pressure. You could see the grandeur of days gone by - would cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to fully refurbish so cheaper price of rooms reflect how it is..My rear standard bedroom was bigger than my brothers standard sea view bedroom. Bed was hard. It's just a personal opinion so can't knock the hotel for that.
There was a loomband on the floor from previous occupants but otherwise very clean. Lino in bathroom had lifted from where too much water spilt but not a reason not to visit.
Room too hot. Turned off radiator but old sash window wouldn't stay open to reduce heat quicker.
Damp in corner of ceiling from water damage.

Great value. It's a great location at a great price 👍 Very noisy. Constant banging throughout the night from other guests with doors, although it's not the hotels fault. Inconsiderate guests.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Our room was specious and clean, but the hotel looks tired. We loved the Christmas decorations, and the breakfast buffet was great. Parking is available at the back on a first come first served basis.

My actual room was spacious but the bathroom was impracticable I have a disability which I have mobility issues the toilet is totally in the wrong position it was virtually unusable thank goodness I had family with other rooms. The other thing was downstairs in the bar the toilet for the females is down a flight of stairs again impossible for me to use , no ramp access at the front door

My room was spacious the bathroom however the toilet itself is clearly in the wrong place I am a disabled person of a larger size and found it very difficult to use the actual toilet. Also the toilet in the ballroom is totally unsuitable for people who have mobility problems too many stairs

Lovely staff, lady on reception offered to change my room on telling her initial one had a draft so pleasant check in and check out - Yes it’s a bit tired and could do with a refurb but at £30 on a Saturday night right on the seafront and a 10 minute stroll from the station, nothing to grumble about

Like many old large hotels, it desperately in need of a revamp. But saying that we had booked a Seaview room which had lovely views over the pier and the room was lovely and warm and the money we paid it was excellent value for moneywe will definitely stay again.

Great location & always warm & welcoming. Room. Shower is a cubicle type & is not the larger person. If staying would suggest asking for a room with a shower over bath. Windows were extremely dirty & curtains & blind in need of some TLC. Also room was extremely hot at all times.

The location was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful The winds were very strong, we had a sea view room. The windows didn't fit the frames properly, so lots of rattling and very draughty = lack of sleep

A very nice and satisfying place to stay a quiet area especially at night, also good views from window out to sea and pier. Sometimes noises coming from other rooms Probably walls to thin.

We love the location & stay at the Burlington every winter. The breakfast was really good. Plenty off it & a good choice Our toilet was very dirty when we went into our room. We didn't like to complain as they let us in to our room a hour early. Our shower was great, hot & a good force. But the shower tray took hours to drain. So it was difficult for both of us to have a shower before we went out.

Although I found it a bit dated it was quite comfortable and very reasonable price, (carparking is £6 per day). Staff very helpful and friendly. The bar is bright and cheerful with views of the pier and seafront. I didn't eat at the hotel although the menu looks good.
