Burlington used to be one of our Eastbourne’s flagship hotels. Sadly like so many great Victorian and Edwardian hotels i Lovely traditional building. Beautiful dining room. Friendly staff.
Keen price for a sea view room. Comfortable and warm.
Looks great from outside. Very decent evening meal at good price. Excellent breakfast
Upgraded very cheaply and without much thought to interior design. Clearly now a budget operation catering for tour market.. Very much faded glories. Worn corridor carpets. Flaking paint, crumbling and rotten window frames.

Good value of money and excellent stay Very friendly staff. Right in right of the pier and just a few minutes away from the town centre by foot.

Lovely friendly staff so helpful. Check in lady (sorry didn't catch name) was so nice and Jasmine was great behind the bar. Nothing we didn't like. A one night stay in February and of course a quiet time but room was lovely and warm and comfortable

This was a spot off the moment trip to Eastbourne and the Burlington made it perfect. Fantastic location, super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean single room and very safe for a single woman. The room was lovely and warm with an extra radiator if needed. Will definitely go back. Thank you Burlington. There was nothing I didn’t like.

I was upgraded to a lovely room with a perfect Seaview. The breakfast was really good. A great variety. The parking was expensive.

Short relaxing break Large room on 3rd floor, bed and bed linen very good room a little shabby around the edges but for the price we paid we were not bothered.
We stayed half board Breakfast and evening meal were good but the star of our meals was the young lady with the pony tail in the dining room she was really lovely you should be very proud of her.
Shame about exterior decor such a grand building that has sadly decayed over the years.

Surprising experience It's not a trump hotel, so all the staff are not super models. But they all have a heart of gold and are very kind and courteous. The hotel is not a polished 5 star experience but it makes up for it with its old-world charm. I really enjoyed my stay there. My rate included meals, breakfast and dinner. All in all, very good value, especially because of the kindness and humanity of those who work there. My room on the 4th floor had a splendid view of the Eastbourne pier and beach. Creaky slopey floors, amazing tiny lifts, room windows in terrible condition. But I adapted to all of those things and more, and enjoyed the whole experience. Was off-season, so not many other guests.

Incredibly comfortable stay for a great price! I loved the bed, the clean linen, the quiet room, the staff was incredibly friendly and competent and the evening meals were just superb! Some patches on the wall in the bathroom

A little disappointed A lovely room, comfie bed.
Facilities in the room were good and nice to have a coffee machine.
Amazing view.
Attentive staff as always.
Good selection at breakfast.
Really like this hotel, just a couple of minor tweaks needed.
Obscenely small toilet and very very difficult to manoeuvre.
Blowing a gale through the old sash windows and had to roll up a towel to put on the gap.
Freezing cold room and heating was on 24 hours.
Close to asking for another blanket.
Shower very slow to drain and had to stop the shower and let it drain, before continuing so it did not overflow.

Can’t complain at all for the price paid for a double room. Soft sheets, hot water, spacious and facing the sun. This time of year though the rooms are difficult to heat and often found the corridors were warmer than my room! Winter duvets do the job fine but you won’t want to leave your bed until the sun rises!

Good value hotel on the seafront Nice sized-room, comfortable bed, nice shower, coffee machine in room! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Private parking, bar and restaurant, gluten-free options were available for breakfast (plenty of cooked and some continental selections) Seaview room - great view but very cold as old windows and heavy winds! Was very draughty and noisy. Will be lovely in the summer but not so great in February!
