This is one of my favourite places in Eastbourne if not the favourite. Summer time on the terrace in the evening is great. Good wine list, cocktails and tapas menu in a buzzy atmosphere.<br><br>Main menu is great, I’d call it solid bistro food in a good atmosphere and reasonable price.<br><br>Definitely a reliable option to get dinner at.

Agnes our waitress made my valentines meal so so special, deserves a pay rise! So lovely, the food was perfect, wine was exquisite, atmosphere 10/10, service was made 10x better by our lovely server (ask for Agnes if you ever dine here!!)

Visited about 18 months ago and the food was disappointing which was a shame. My son went recently and had a good experience so we decided to give it another go. Went last night and it was a very different experience. Great food, very nice staff and good atmosphere, hopefully this is the more typical story and we look forward to going again

A colleague and I were staying at a nearby hotel, so we decided to pop over for food, arriving around 6 pm. There was barely anyone in the restaurant or bar area at this time. The head waiter ( I assume) greeted us, but when we said we hadn't booked, let out a sigh and an eye roll, saying "we're fully booked. You'll have to go in the bar". Going in the bar was not an issue. His attitude towards us was. We were seated and so was another table of 2 next to us.<br>Both us and them ordered around the same time, Their food arrived, except it wasn't their order but ours. The food was whisked but we were assured fresh would be arriving to us. However, less than 4 minutes later, our food arrived, which was the order taken to the other table. We know because my chicken dish was off centre on the plate as the one they'd been presented was..<br>The food was nice, a bit warmer would have helped. We had waited for drinks, and my colleague went to the bar which again upset Waiter 1 even though the guy who served him was happy to do so.<br>So food was good but the attitude really spoilt the experience.

Was taken for lunch today wr arrived 45 minutes early but was taken to a table immediately without any questions<br>The overall service was fabulous<br>But the food was even better<br>Hot bread with garlic butter together with olives<br>Mains of chicken Normandy and I gad a cheeseboard to finish<br>The overall quality of food was exquisite<br>Thank you for a wonderful experience we will certainly return<br>Keith Stead

We do like to use our local Bistrot Pierre whenever we can and in our opinion is the best place to eat in Eastboure. The staff are always extremely attentive and kind. The food has never disappointed us and highly recommend their Sunday Roast. We visited on Sunday the 9th February 24 and were touched at how the member of staff, Adrian, remembered my wife, who had a stroke and can only use one hand, needed her food cut up and asked if he could help to do the task, such an amazing and thoughtful gesture. Full credit to the management as well.

Love it here, live close by and visit often. Have a Bistro card and points and offers so good. Lovely atmosphere and staff and food very good. Raul one of the management team is particularly friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble. Such a lovely position and views fabulous especially in the summer from the terrace.

I love visiting the Bistro for it's fabulous setting, ambience and service. The staff are friendly and attentive. Whist the food is tasty and well presented, I was disappointed by the portion sizes. It appears that the vegetarian dishes come in smaller portions than that of the meat dishes. I only had about 5 pieces of tortellini in the pasta dish that I ordered, whilst my partner received half a chicken for the same value!

This is my fourth time coming back here and I love it every time! Debs is the best server and is always welcoming and friendly. The food is great and the views of the seaside for breakfast are stunning! Will be back

Fabulous birthday meal today in Eastbourne BP. From the extensive menu we chose chorizo sausages & salmon starters, salmon provencale & chicken normandy. All was delicious and plentiful & served with a smile throughout from the attentive staff. Not our first time here but can highly recommend and we will certainly be back

From the waitress to the manager the service was great. I think the chef also ensured brilliant experience by highlighting alternatives to deal with my brother’s allergies. Thanks for the teamwork, which ensured my awkward Australian brother had a super time 😀 (visited Wednesday 22-1-25)

Had a wonderful date night at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Chloe, was incredibly sweet and attentive, making the experience even more special. A big thank you to her for making our evening unforgettable! Highly recommend!

Quality service not used to that living in London . Me and wife went for her birthday . Waitress was really nice not used to that living in London , I tried to give her some cash at the end for her being nice but she refused saying service charge was already added .<br>They brought out an ice cream for my wife with it being her birthday which was a nice touch .<br>We went somewhere else the next night and the quality difference was massive for the same price .<br>Will definitely be back in a few months when it’s warm enough to sit out .
