Popped in at lunchtime for a snack and coffees. Cracking location and gppd atmosphere. Love the French spelling of Bistrot 😉 only negative was the discretionary service charge of 10%- which is creeping in everywhere 🙄🙄

Sandra is a definite star. She's attentive, friendly and gave great service from beginning to end,. A great asset to the restaurant. Riberio is also cool.<br>On the downside there's limited choice for vegans on main course.

Atmosphere was lovely. Food was delicious and service was very friendly. Especially our main waiter a French man. Sign up when we arrived stating fully booked which was true luckily we had pre booked. Beautiful location overlooking the sea. Would recommend highly.

Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff at Bistrot Pierre, yesterday 27th, myself and 4 friends turn up asking if we could be fed and gone within the hour with no reservation, as we had a show to see. Plus a 6th person would be arriving shortly. And they did it, fantastic service, efficient they effortlessly added the extra order which was given in a few minutes after. The seabass was delicious. Thank you so much, a super experience .

This is the first time I have been there and I enjoyed the food and the service was very good, they were very busy but we weren't rushed. The view over the chalk cliffs and the bay are beautiful. I will certainly be going back.

Update March 2025<br>This Bistrot Pierre seems to have got it together in terms of service. We have eaten in there several times in the past 4 months, often for breakfast. Service has been consistent - friendly, helpful and welcoming. This is great given the location is superb and a credit to the managers and staff concerned.<br><br>Update Sept 2023<br>This place seems carefully curated to always disappoint. A tragedy given it occupies such a great location. From items regularly off the menu, erratic service. Personal and table presentation that is sadly lacking at times. To on this stunningly beautiful late summer morning ruining any chance of enjoying a breakfast by playing thumping music at a quite unnecessary volume. I long for the day this establishment is replaced by something that is more deserving of its position.<br><br>Previous review pre-pandemic<br><br>Great venue in Eastbourne and some lovely staff. Let down by very cramped tables and chaotic service when any more than half full. Marble topped tables have always been smeary and glassware less than spotless. Food can be nice - though has a chain restaurant quality. Full breakfast reasonable in price, nice presentation though quality of sausages and black pudding low.

We decided to go to Bistro Pierre for lunch on a whim so had no expectations, but we were blown away by every element of the experience. The food is delicious, with a wide range of options, the service was impeccable and the location couldn’t be more perfect in a sunny spot with unspoiled sea view. Everything has been thought out so carefully and the restaurant feels light, spacious and elegant without being pretentious. I would highly recommend it to anyone and will certainly be returning.

Great location on the seafront, with the sea making a nice back drop to eating, especially on a sunny day.<br><br>Food was nice, and varied, though portions a tad small, which could have been because we had the set menu. All meals were cooked well and to our liking.<br><br>Service was generally good but a little slow at times on the day we went, not a big issue but would have been if we were in a hurry.<br><br>Overall would definitely go back. Mahou lager on tap was a big bonus for me, one of my favourites.
