Very cheep hotel , got allocated room 114 on 1st floor , the room was very very dated , the shower wasn't working, so we told reception , then to discover the toilet wasn't screwed down to the floor, so it wobbled whist sitting on it, then when it come to bedtime, the bed base was completely broken, so no sleep on our first night, we went to reception and told them, they sent a maintenance guy to our room , and looked at the bed, and then told us we can move to another room, which was 214 on the 2nd floor , very happy with this room , the only fault was the bathroom was freezing cold as the radiator wasn't working , but for a weekend stay or over night stay for great price . This hotel was good enough , the two staff we saw were friendly . No idea if they had a restaurant , as we wasn't offered food if we wanted breakfast or dinner? But the view we had from both rooms was lovely looking onto the pier 😀 .

I was very positively surprised - for a two-star hotel, it is a very pleasant place!The hotel is located right on the pier, close to the city centre and near Beachy Head. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly hotel and great location for walking. We (me and my dog) will definitely come back here!

A Victorian hotel near the Pier
The location is awsome - a 15-minute walk from the railway station. And the sea view from the room.

Great location. Obtaining a parking permit was easy and we were able to park very close. Staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was cheap and cheerful, room was clean.

Budget hotel. Our room was clean / comfortable and met our needs. We only needed somewhere to sleep and did not need other facilities. Staff friendly. For price we paid, we were satisfied with our stay.
