With Christmas fast approaching, the community is beginning to get into full swing for the holiday season. Baubles, Santa sleighs, garlands and wreaths, with the sounds of holiday music filling the air.
As you decorate your facility with Christmas cheer, we are asking for your co-operation to help for those who live in unfortunate circumstances.
The weather is turning colder, and there is nothing worse to face in life, than being left out in the cold. Did you know that over 50% of body heat is lost from the top of our heads............... heat rises, and body heat is lost this way.
Stonepillow is a charitable organization that helps the homeless persons of the Chichester and surrounding areas. Sadly enough, homelessness occurs right in our own area. For those that are homeless, and out in the cold, we can help them.
We can all help to keep those that are in unfortunate circumstances warm this winter.
Thebestof Chichester is asking, on behalf of Stonepillow, for your business to put up one Christmas tree, any size, and help to fill it with Warm Winter Woolly items to be donated to Stonepillow.......................... warm winter hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, as well as warm socks to keep cold feet warm in the wintertime. Please encourage your customers staff, students, schools, and friends to bring in a warm winter accessory to decorate on your Mitten Tree!
Trees look beautiful when decorated, and trees that benefit a great cause look even better!!
